Required Level: 82+

Farming for Volatile Airs to sell on AH, also picks up lovely greens for d/e and decent xp for 82-84.


Currently no vendor, nor no mail included.
For not being able to run it on your 85 toon simply change the max level to 86 (right click, edit, 85 -> 86)
If you dont pull mobs, bump your pull range up. (i use the default one)




My New Profile Is Coming In The Next Couples Day Which Has Been Making Me 15k+ A Day - Stay Tuned

I got this error: I'm level 85 "This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character!"

EDIT: "Sorry just edited the max level to 86 :) "
 
Do these things just have a low drop rate or what? I've killed 25 of the mobs with no valuable loot.

wowhead: droprate 12%
It's not fairly high, but seeing one comment in Wowhead, the guy farmed 40 airs in 1 hour. In my server volatile air goes for 50gold each.. thats about 2000gold profit in an hour.
With bot farming, it might be less than that, but I think it's pretty good considering you also get greens and blues =)

very low drop rate, but if you let it run overnight you will get PLENTY of greens and at least 200 volatile airs which sell 30g minimum a piece. So a night you earn usually 200x30+= 6000 gold just like that. Made 25k so far farming these things! And I aint gonna stop. :)
 
Okay after running this profile for 100 kills(loots), here is what I came up with.

82 AFF Lock:
0 Deaths
550k exp/h
2 BoE Green
7 or so stacks of trash loot (greys)
16 Volatile Airs
 
you are still 82, thus the slow rate at which you are killing them! When you are 84-85 you should come there and try farming it, trust me overnight you will get at least 150 volatile airs and 15 greens and maybe even some blue/epic. (got blue twice here). I bot a demo warlock as I find the felguard to be best for botting.
 
Great profile. Running at lvl 81 platewearer tho badly geared. Getting arround 300k /h (due to lvl + gear) but it never dies, and wont die unless ganked.

This area is very crowded on my server, so I think its a very big risk using this on popular servers. Nice profile tho :)

Hmm, lucky you, the droprate supposedly is nerfed to 5% (source: wowhead)

Even then, with the lower drop rate, the price goes up :D

Ok, let me calculate this for you:
Before the nerf, plenty of air's got sold on the AH for 40-60g a piece (55g on my server). Now, with the extra time it takes to farm them, they go for 150g A PIECE on my server!

With the drops being lowered from 15 to 5 percent and the 300% increase in price, I lose nothing by afk'ing here - Actually, it seems legit players wont farm it as much any more, my competition on the AH is GONE! The only other guy selling shit is a guy trying to get 2250g for a stack of 6, which of course will never happen when i offer mine for (currently) 150...

EDIT: I just came to think that the above info might be a bit too specific, hope I wont get banned for letting it stay there :p

Airs only sell for ~40-50g on my server =/

I've still made a ton off this profile, so I wont complain =)

Hmm, you could have made much more if you started farming here when the first few profiles got out with this place (this is the fourth i think, first one got uploaded 10 days ago)

EDIT: Lol, just casually looked at my priest getting 2x air four mobs in a row :3

I'm at 70x after 2 hours currently, but yeah, he kills one in 8 secs, walks with 150% ms (noAddiction) and never drinks, sooo ^^

I didn't want to sell for 30-60 gold so I waited ( I knew it was gonna get nerfed :) ) so I sold mine volatiles for 75-90 gold...Now when competition is gone I sell for 110g :))))
I have 135 volatiles in bag + 30 on AH : )))

Got already around 15k so far + I have 165 more volatiles ^^ woohoo great profile ;)
 
It doesnt seem to pull much of the mobs around here, i watched the bot for 15mins and it is just runing past mobs that dont attack it. possible to make it pull every mob it sees?
