Leatherworking - what to choose next and is it even useful?

G'evening!


What do you guys consider the best profession to have WITH leatherworking?

I've always been botting with multiple chars with herb/mining and just selling it to a private buyer, but this time I feel like trying something else.

Im willing to make another character with a set of 2 new professions aswell.

So, having thought in using LW for making gold - what would you consider?

I have no intention of reaching the gold cap or something like that, I am only trying to hit a certain gold point, where I am able to buy whatever I want :)
 
I have my LW mixed with inscription. Make around 10k a day just by making the shoulder enchants (Inscription) and the armor packs (LW). Any left over inks I just list on the AH and convert my leather into hides and sell these as well. Found that the LW stuff on my server hasn't really dropped in price at all. Make a solid 500 - 700g per armour kit.
 
How do you get the materials for the inscription and LW?
Do you buy them from AH and make sure that you make profit of it, or how? :)

I have a farming account that has herbing and skinning
 
Ah, not a bad idea.

I should consider making a second account OR take the risk and have a gather character on same account with herb / skinning then.
What are the prices for shoulder enchants and armor packs on your server?

If they're kinda alike on my server, I should be able to make the same ammount of gold as you (theoretically).

Prices range from 200g for some of them to around 400g.
 
Alright, thank you :)

I now have a inscription & lw toon, and a skinning / herb toon.

It all seems to work fine - but - how do you get your spirits of harmony, as they are not tradeable so you can't send them from your skin/herb toon?
 
Anyone got a tip to get Spirit of Harmony on my toon with LW?
