Why doesnt my bot work/ why does it only cast a few spells?
I only support the English WoW client. So if you're using a German/Russian/French etc WoW client this CC will not work for you.

Can you add a GUI so I can configure whether i want to use AoE or CD's or not?
No.

Does this CC work for us under level 85?
I wouldn't recommend using it when your not level 85. This CC is for raiding and dungeon purposes at 85.

Just tested this on a training dummy. all went well but at some point it stopped using inst Pyroblast Procs and just ignored them.
 
And if you are raiding and if there is another sournce of a 5% crit debuff it will just spam scorch

-Doesent recast Molten Armor in combat

-Doesent use Mana Gems

-Ignores Hot Streak Procs

-Not sure if it matters, but you have hunter abilities in your .cs file..

Did you test it for more than 10 seconds? I've run through all 8 bosses in dragon soul, 1 heroic and several tests at dummies without experiencing any of the issues you mentioned above!
also about the mana gems, if you read the thread in the first place you'd see ive already mentioned it doesnt use mana gems.

And no it doesnt matter. I must of forgotten to remove those 2 lines.

Ill upload a new file right away.

Warlocks and deathknights apply the same buff(Winters Chill and Improved Shadow Bolt)

When their buff overrides Critical mass, your CC casts Scorch again, then a shadow bolt overrides it again, causing your CC to basically spam scorch and not apply living bomb because you are having it require "Critical Mass"

Reply to above: odds are you were doing 10 man or just plain out didn't have a different class that applies the same buff with a different name
 
How would you or i adjust the CC to identify the 5% crit itself to include Winters Chill and Improved Shadow Bolt so it isnt constatly trying to re-apply critical mass when the same debuff already exists?

I look forward to the new CC. for now im just deleting the Critical mass check and will manually apply it myself until your update is released. I really like it sans the little probs listed
 
is the fix for critical mass up yet been a few days and nothin on the thread about it

Yeah, I know its taking time. I havent quit the CC so not to worry:)
I just need to implement a code which im not sure how to get working. So as soon as i know how this code, and it works as intended an update will be on its way.
 
just a side note it doesnt seem to keep living bomb on the target 100% of the time its more a 50% uptime which is a major dps loss other then that and the critical mass issue its almost flawless

Yeah, im aware. I need to make the "StopWatch" code work, but atm i havent managed to.

All the Me.CurrentTarget.HasAura("") seems to be bugged. It works properly if your the only mage in a party/raid.
 
I'm loving this CC so far man thank you. I'm still an HB noob, I replaced Fireball with Frostfire Bolt now my Hot Streaks don't seem to be going off as often, mainly while moving. I'm trying to find time to learn CC making until then what can I do?

I am very proud to finally introduce a "bug" free Pyromancer v2.0.

Living Bomb and Scorch(Critical Mass) which did not apply and/or reapply at targets in either raids, dungeons or simply at dummies has been recoded and does now work as originally intended.
I am certain that most of you will have a very positive experience with this CC! Even a poorly geared Mage should now have a chance of topping the DPS meters! Happy raiding :)

Pyroblast proc has also been fixed and will now be cast at every single proc!


Thanks alot CodenameG for the guidance and holding up with me while asking stupid questions, without you this would not have been possible!

Just tried the lateste version 2.0, heres some feedback:

I was doing a 10 man with another mage and a lock in the raid, and for some reason, sometimes the CC would just spam the shit out of living bomb, it kept reapplying non stop.

Also, when some other buff overwrites Critical Mass, the CC spams Scorch to "apply" it.

I've also seen it miss Pyroblast! proc sometimes ...

Heres a log, hope it helps.

The errors I'm reporting are mostly towards the end of the log, I started doing some Heroics and then went to Firelands.


Also, another suggetion I have is to check the buff called "Dalaran Brilliance" wich is a clone of "Arcane Brilliance" except with a different icon, but the CC keeps rebuffing when someone else buffs Dalaran Brilliance.




After looking at it for a while, I noticed that if MY Critical Mass is on the target, the "rotation" is perfect, but if the CC tries to compete with someone else debuffing, the "rotation" goes to shit ... But great job, I can't wait for the next update!

Im not doing any hot fixes on this CC, atm i need to sort out the code that recognizes debuffs. for example Living Bomb which im surprised to see you didnt have any issues with ;S
The Pyroblast doesnt cast because everything else is bugged. So my apologies.

If I dont get this solved soon i might have to discontinue the project.

I loved this CC, the guy was in the right path, only needed minor adjustments.
