Lazyraider - Bowman Marksman/Survivalist

Explo Shot

I noticed it does 4 cobra shots, then explosive shot.

@20% haste you should get 3 cobra's then explosive.

I know HB does not support DX11 in WoW, but does that only apply to the movement?

HB wont work at all with DX11 :/
 
In Dragon Soul (raid finder) Ultraxion the CC goes crazy trying to use traplauncher.

Looks like it cannot find good spot to put it or This got busted in latest HB

And it spams ability not ready ALL the time.

Wait what? Ultraxion?
I dont have a hunter, so i'll leave this to Shaddar, CC really shouldn't be using Trap Launcher on the Ultraxion Fight.
Post a log please?

It frame rate freezes on explosive shot every so often. Shaddar i know you can fix the Frame rate freeze as you done it on your deathstrike 2.1 ;)

We're aware of the issue, but time is a bit of a problem :)
Shaddar is currently a bit pressured at work, but that should change very soon again (He's a hard worker lol)
We've been talking about this problem and we think we know the problem :)

Update

Version 3.7
- Lag should be removed
- Box for disabling/enabling Launcher + Fire Trap should now work
- Box for disabling/enabling Multishot should now work

You'll have to wait for Shaddar to come back if you want .zips
I can't say a 100 % that this fixed lag errors, because i have no hunter at lvl 85 to test it for you. But i'm guessing i found the error, if you have any problems, do not hesitate to tell whats wrong​

First of all, thanks you for the great job. I have tested this one in multiple LFR fight while keeping a close look at my focus using JHunter addon. What I have found out after several fights is, that it will keep using cobra shot (SV build of course) even when I am focus capped. And I mean even using 2 cobra shots at 100 focus. This thing got worse when I got 2T13. My focus was most of the time capped. Still the dps was good.

I do not expect of course for it to do more dps than in hand mode (only DKs CC manage to do that) but is it an issue here? Is it lag or something else that prevents you to get accurate focus value?

Shaddar is currently on a little afk mode, due to work - but I will take a look into this and see what I find (just need to get sober again, so no ETA) :)

So i've sobered up and had a look at capping focus with Cobra Shot

Version 3.8 out on SVN
- Should no longer use Cobra Shot when you're focus capped

I do not have a hunter to test this out.
If you want .Zips, you'll have to wait for Shaddar to come back

There's still a problem with focus capping & cobra shot, at least with 2pT13. Are there any ways to detect the set bonus and not have it cast above 80~?

Damn! I'll push out a fix tomorrow for this, that incorporates detection of tier items

I'm not the greatest with maths, but each cobra shot will generate 18 energy with the set bonus, but you also have to account for the energy regeneration during the 1.5~ second cast, which will be around 6-7 energy, at least with the amount of haste that you're going to be getting on higher end gear. Honestly, a slider or advanced option for when to cast your focus shot will be extremely useful since differing gear levels will change the optimal number back and forth.

Also, I ran this earlier in LFR, and during the times I had to move & it would change over to Aspect of the Fox, there's a huge amount of lag. I'll drop anywhere from 200 FPS to around 30. I used to use PQR for my hunter rotation and I never had problems with lag as badly as that. Otherwise, the CC is amazing and I love it to bits. Thanks for the great work on it :)

Ok, so i've been thinking about how to make it so every player can be satisfied with when the CC uses Steady/Cobra shot for focus regen and what i've come up with is a numeric function where you type in what amount of focus the CC has to be under before using them.

Also there'll be added a function to disable aspect switching + will check the current codes for aspect switching as it's been reported to cause some lag

So I promised you guys an update; but it probably wont be before tomorrow
Tomorrow I plan on updating what you guys have asked for in Bowman
I will also update our warrior CC to stop the lag issues there + implement a stance dance code (lets call it an alpha stance dance)

Would it be possible to only switch to aspect of the fox when using cobra/steady shot, that way when you have to move but are at full focus you aren't getting lower damage Explosives/Chimaeras, and this would also stop the aspect spam for moving like 3 feet to get out of the fire. Then switch back to Aspect of the Hawk for any other shot, even while moving.

spam is horrible only because it reacts to you turning left or right which makes it bad, however there is for min. movement for hunters unless you are in hard modes so it shouldnt such a big hurry, still running lazy raider/raid bot mode meaning you are in front of your pc whats wrong with doing a lil clicky yourself?
