LazyLock - Destruction Warlock CC

mmm...banish didn't work very well....
i mean..it did...but it really didn't :P

it kept banishing it, even though it was the last mob left..even after i did /clearfocus.
so i had to unbanish manually..which then turned it into a loop of unbanish/banish....resulting in a comment like "you can stop banishing now" :P
to which i told them sorry, my macro is all messed up....and turned off HB for the remainder of that mob fight..then unchecked the banish option.

i can maybe find a log once i get home if you need it...
 
also, another question..i see it trying to do AOE..i see the green circle thingy flash briefly..but then it never actually puts it down...
is that normal?
 
I see no tries about AOE ... but on one target this bot rocks ... i have to do aoe but that is it ... not that hard :)

i do love this CC. it has done wonders for my dps.
was wondering if there were any intentions of adding shadowburn? would also love Summon infernal. AOE support would be the bomb. Not biting the hand that feeds just throwing out some ideas.
 
Its not so good as crowd control banish/fears (you will have to do it manually and then sometimes fight it to not attack a fear target or have pet attack fear target) even if I have something focused, but that could be a modified UI issue with pitbull unitframes or something?

Other then that HOLY CRAPTASTIC DPS! Been using this with combatbot/lazyraider and I never have to worry again. It does the DPS, I can free up time to look for things on my feet that will kill me, move away from AoEs, and otherwise be awesome DPS. I can even brez with soulstone now and I love how this CC does not fight me to cast (Just gotta spam what I want until LazyLock gets a moment between spells). I'm either top DPS, or still doing considerable amounts of damage. I'm never "carried" and because I can actually pay attention, sometimes I help my friends over vent on what goo pile they are standing in at the moment. I'm very glad I stuck with destro through cata, else I would have to recommend all lazy locks like me go destro and use this CC!
(Still laughing hysterically when the mage that outgears me cannot keep up with my DPS)

The only downside is the fear/banish fighting, meaning I cannot help crowd control, and this CC is only really good at single target bossfights (they last a while and your damage just keeps going up while everyone else's burst damage ends and they trickle down) and not so good at multi-target trash mobs. Still, bossfights are all that really matters and if I pick the right trash targets my DPS is still just fine, if not the best!
 
If you can get to use Chaos bolt on cooldown, keep imp soul fire up and use trinkets(racials, professions) this would be the best lock cc right now. UPDATE! PLEASE!
 
This was/is the highest DPS Destruction Lock CC's, if there was more customization and the ability to interrupt it to AOE (like some of the other CC's) It would be even better. Looks like it will die soon w/o an update though.
 
do we have to download all the files and put them in a folder or just the zip File LazyLock v0.4.2.zip (8.1 KB)?
