Laundering Gold?

I did a forum search and only found one thread that barely had any info on it.

In that thread, they talked about gbanks and whether to put pure gold or items in the gbank and transfer it.

My thought was putting something up on the ah at a higher than normal price (such as an enchant rod from the enchant vendor for about 100g) with my main account (that I don't want to get banned) Then buying all the 100g rods up with my botted account. I would be losing the ah fee but would it be safer than the gbank method?

Do you have any other ideas on how to launder gold to an account you don't want banned?
 
I have no expertise in that area, but couldent you just sell an enchantable mat, since they only cost 1 silver in deposit? (plus the AHs cut for selling your stuff)
 
as far as I know theres no 100% safe method. I recommend doing ur transactions in small amounts rather than 1 or 2 large ones.
 
Personally, I think buying lots of overpriced items off the AH looks dodgy, plus you'll lose the commission that the AH takes. Guild banks get used all the time buy guilds transferring thousands of gold for all sorts of things.

^This is actually the best way in my oppinion.

The best scenario would be having a (fake) guild with a lot of members that have access to some tabs and can trade stuff, repair each day for a little amount of gold.
This way you already have money income and outcome and it is not only you, taking out money with the main account.
Another layer of security is, having some friends in the guild with higher permissions that take out gold and just put it back after some days.

Even if the account or gbank is being checked, the chance of staying safe is very very high.
I'm doing this for years now and all in all there has been a cash flow of millions without any single member ever getting banned.
 
Laundering? You are not a drug lord sir. Just put your gold in the guild vault and withdraw it with whatever char u need it, nothing happens, thats how i always did it and i never got banned for it.

Don't do AH and overpricing. I know few people get banned for this.

All seriousness though use the g-bank its the safest atm. =)
 
Thanks everyone :) I'm going to stick with the gbank method for now. I need to recruit now :/ It's quite suspicious only having two people in the guild, but recruiting for a level one guild is a pain.
 
cant you just trade gold hand to hand? i think blizzard cant see that.. have sold gold on my main account trading hand to hand for 7 years without getting banned. am i totally wrong?
