Launch times for WOD -and with no patch -how are you preparing?

I'll probably do a handful of quests, and then wait for the questing areas to die down a bit. I'm on a PvP server and I remember cataclysm being absolute hell at launch. There were lines of people trying to kill the quest mobs. For every 10 you attacked you'd tag 1, so it could take 30 minutes to get credit for 20 kills. And once you got out of the faction-specific areas (if applicable), you'd just get camped by an entire guild.

I wasn't around for MoP launch (I only just got it when it was released for free), so maybe they've improved since then.
