I followed this guide on THUD to add an extra layer of security against warden. Diablo is lauching fine with new account, but when i start DB (as administrator) he couldn't find/read diablo process.. Anyone did this with success ? Is it even possible with DB ?

db should be enought against warden.
And you shouldn't ***** on an account you canno't afford to loose

No point in doing it with DB.

I'm not using it, i just use their tutorial.

How can you be so confident with DB ? Using an extra layer of security can't hurt..
Unless you have some solid proofs, we all should protect us from warden as much as possible no ?

hello,

Was saying, don't use third party programs on account you can't afford to loose.

Yes, I am that confident with DB.
Because they hire real professional for doing their job, and I heard some great things about them.
(even if sometimes I feel like there are some nazi moderation, I guess it can't be some others solutions with this kind of big community)

DB provide us a solid protection, or at least, at their best, so doing things that isn't supposed to be done in the normal way aren't "safer" that stuck on the guidline. (it's my opinion, I clearly understand yours)
Also, I think that official answer will be: follow our guidlines, not from others third party.

Not sure if you got what I tried to said :p

I got what you said and i'm also pretty confident with DB and believe in their skills (i'm using DB since years and still not banned..), but user rights limitations on Windows side are real and we can do it on our side, so why not use them to protect us ? :) I prefer to do more than less.
An official answer to "Is it possible to limit D3 windows rights and still use DB ? Is it worth it ?" questions could be pretty cool :)

there is no reason for something like that

Isolate Diablo processus with very low rights user (not admin rights) and deny access to db folder to avoid untimely scans..

your safety lvl will be the same, you wont earn any safety points doing it
