lag issue

I recently re installed from scratch using the wizard and latest of everything. When I start demon the game gets to a crawl and is unplayable.

Ideas?

Also, I lost my password on original account and have tried to reset but no responses in a week.

ugh found it. For some reason I had 3 cores disabled in MSconfig. Sorry, working as expected now.
