LoN works easy till GR84For high GRs invoker. For T10 LoN and LoN until like GR 75ish
It won't be better than invoker past like 80 though. It just won't. Not only does invoker literally not die but its damage got super buffed long as you set density to 15+.LoN works easy till GR84
I never said problems with LoN. LoN is fine, but its worse. If you can't see that you don't understand what invoker is capable of now that AoE dmg, Hack, and Provoke shield work with Invoker set now.You mean this build/gear http://www.diablofans.com/builds/69887-2-4-gr87-invoker-punish ?
I can say i had never probs with LoN
But where on live people did GR100 with invoker? Talking about PTR is a complete other thing dudeI never said problems with LoN. LoN is fine, but its worse. If you can't see that you don't understand what invoker is capable of now that AoE dmg, Hack, and Provoke shield work with Invoker set now.
I mean this is a thread about 2.4.1?!?!?!?! Why would we care about live. Invoker next patch will dominate LoN where LoN can't just waltz in and 1 shot mobs so basically like GR80+But where on live people did GR100 with invoker? Talking about PTR is a complete other thing dude![]()
6pc sucks? So 800% of your thorns per hit which can now proc AoE.first of all it the 6pc invoker bonus sucks for high grifts, second you have 100% akkarat uptime with akkhan set and therefore 450% constant bonus (not sure if this is multiplicative but i hope so) plus the benefit of survival through akkarats champion. ofc you need thorns on all akkarat stuff or at least as much as possible. in addition you only have to get base cdr of 50% making it possible to go for area dmg or other stuff on an few items...
seems legit...
I mean... there is PTR that has multiple 98-100 clears with invoker?!?! I guess thats not proof enough then you aren't worth dealing with.youtube vid, or it did not happen....

If you don't know how Akarats Awakening works and using invoker there is S5 guides on Dfans with videos even the one linked earlier in this thread shows it.
It doesn't make any sense that invoker would be stronger since LoN is far harder to gear. I remember Blizzard explaining that LoN was intentionally more powerful than the class sets because of this gearing difficulty (they wanted you to feel like you would be rewarded for the extra challenge of gearing LoN).
What I suspect will happen is invoker will be strongest on PTR for testing purposes, then they will dial it back to be slightly sub par to LoN before release. That, or LoN will get some kind of implicit damage buff that restores its superiority on the back end.
Unless Blizzard is retarded (again?), the harder-to-gear builds should have the best performance.
LoN was never suppose to be better. They never once said it should be better. They said it should be viable option and it has been. It is the best DH(still is on PTR because they doubled its output by buffing the FoK Dagger), best WD(might barely get outshined by Helltooth because it went from 900 to 1500%), Crusader LoN is currently best, but Invoker received massive buffs(you maintain on aoe 20+ stacks so you now have 700% thorns increase instead of 500%) and you now do 800% per melee vs 600% and now thorns can AoE and benefit from Provoke shield and Provoke shield is buffing Hack so Hack is better now too. It all adds up to being better for high GR pushing. LoN will still be able to do 97/98 like like, but invoker is probably gonna see 103-105 this season.
PTR is gonna end a few days after season ends basically so we have less than 10-12 days to see a change. We haven't seen changes to PTR for almost a month. This patch is just buffing sets that weren't used to be used.
Well shit. I hate when I'm wrong. Thanks for the info.
I still think LoN should logically be at the top for GR, simply because LoN sader is a bitch to gear and people have earned that right. But the blue post makes it clear they are trying to make all sets equally viable. So who knows, Invoker might actually take the cake.
This catering to mediocrity to maximize profits has really destroyed Blizzard's gaming integrity... Screw the noobs, if I do a lot of work to get badass gear, I should be at the top and keep what I earned. (Talking more about games like WoW, D3 is obviously a joke.)
