Has anyone found theres less of this since 5.2? I haven't gathered much of it, but I ran a dread wastes profile I've used before today and it hardly got any. Possibly was following someone else I guess, but didn't notice anyone (not that I watched a lot). Just wondering if it got nerfed somewhat, or just ran into a bad run.

Me either largely. In my case I'm just collecting it on and off for my BS to purchase recipes off the Klaxxi. 20 Kyparite per recipe from memory.
Doesnt sound right. I am farming out several hundred a night..

Hi,
It's used in the Engineering mount (200 per mount), Blacksmithing recipes (30-40 each) and for purchasing Blacksmithing recipes (20 each). Jewelcrafters also prospect from it.
It commands a low AH price (and luckily stacks high to 200) but it's real value is from prospecting; if you have a JC then prospect and sell the Jewels.

EDIT: sorry didn't read OP properly --and yes, I have noticed a slight nerf as of lately... used to pickup 200 overnight but now <100. Dread Wastes still produces the best yield -on my profiles at least.
