Klovnene's guide to "the insane"

ravenholdt is slow. i'd say 1 hour = 100 rep or less for ravenholdt (for boxes). maybe a little more rep than that, depending. :(
 
Ill try to look up on extending the Ravenholdt profile, and finding a more effecient zone maybe...

I am running a combo of Klovnene's Grinding Profiles and Kickazz006's modified questing ones on several accounts right now.. For bloodsail I have found that the profile by FrancoFun worked the smoothest for me. I don't really understand what the difference is between all the bloodsail profiles, but Franco's got stuck the least and I was able to afk or stay alt tabbed nearly the entire time. As for lockboxes, I found that Fpsware's Rogue CC didn't have smooth logic for pick pocketing / sub spec, so after doing some research it seems that Shadowstrike CC is the way to go. You cant get it on the honorbuddy forums due to some lame drama between coders or something... so in order to get that you have to go to LiquidSkies, register and then dl it (click the honorbuddy tab near the top to find it). So far I like it better that fpsware's, for pickpocketing at least.

On wowhead and a few other forums it seems the most common method for normal people who actually farm this themselves is to run LBRS or Scholo. How hard would it be to make something that stealthed through pickpocketing everything, then zones out and resets the instance and goes again? Also, Kickazz, I noticed on your trunk there are Junkbox profiles for BRD and Burning steppes.. I'm currently using your modified version of Klovnene's. I was wondering how the other two compared in boxes/hour...

I also found it insanely helpful to remove a bunch of crap from protected items list and add in a fake vendor into the profiles for steamwheedle cartel so that I could use DHX Mount Vendors to save myself time. I loot the mobs to help them respawn quicker. I also added "<SellGrey>True</SellGrey> <SellWhite>True</SellWhite> <SellGreen>True</SellGreen> <MinFreeBagSlots>2</MinFreeBagSlots>" which has really improved how long I can leave the bot running before checking out it. Every 8-12 Hours I have to dump off around 50 stacks of mageweave, but other than that, when my bags fill up DHX just mounts me up and sells off all the greys / low level food / random useless items.

For the people who don't care about keeping their bloodsail rep at honored (no longer required to maintain the rep to complete achiev). Outside every goblin city there is a NPC with a repeatable cloth turn-in quest that will allow you to get from Hated to Neutral (huge help). For Example, The quest "War at Sea" (War at Sea - Quest - World of Warcraft) in Tanaris, requires 40 Mageweave cloth and 4 Strong Flux, but gives you 500 Gadgetzan rep and decreases your Bloodsail rep by 500. It would be awesome to have a profile that farms and takes breaks every few hours to go turn in all the cloth you have gotten. I think each zone drops the corresponding cloth for their NPC.

While turning in lockboxes, keep in mind that if you have the http://www.wowhead.com/item=44235, just mount up and vendor the trowing weapons as you turn in the quest.

I'm nearing the end of my goblin rep grind. Just how long should I expect to take to complete the Ravenholdt/Darkmoon rep grinds?

The BRD thing i also thought of that, but ive heard from good sources that the drop rate was lowered a lot.

The Steamwheedle farm idea you have is good.

And the trashing rep i actually thought of doing a quest profile with that, but atm im really busy with exams and stuff :D
 
Sooo... are there only 4 reps required now in cataclysm? And could you please outline the order in which to get the reps? Does this matter?

I ask all this becuase I have over 160 epic ilvl 359 decks which will get me exalted with darkmoon faire from botting, and decided to go for it this summer.

For this rep, i am not going to make a profile, because the only way to get this rep is farming guards in Booty Bay, to do that,, open your rep tap (U) and find Booty Bay, and set "At war" then just kill as many as possible. Farm that to Honored. A profile for Faldir's cove is comming up as soon as im a little less lazy :P

This is a profile I altered from a thread post somewhere. I am not taking credit. This profile stands there if a ranger in just kills one person who is literally insa respawn and than two other when they spawn. Around 400 k/h. Just started it.

Also it only has one hotspot so its super simple. Dosnt go on the boat at all.

Edit: 375 k/h after 3 hours of trails. working perferct.

Can someone plz share a rogue CC that pickpockets plz...... im just missing that part of the insane.
 
guys i need urgent help when i run the weedle carte 2 profile it already move and kill mobs but it target them after the kill and stay still and i need to remove it by clicking on the mouse to make the char move again what should i do

I think i Have the Rouge 2.0 profile he pickpockets everything then kills. thats all its named not sure much more but if you search you will find one.
 
also I wish I could get 600 kills an hour on my lock I am getting like 250ish

I just completed my goblin rep grind and got my title using the Steamwheel Cartel 2 profile to finish things up. I have multiple WOW accounts so I ended up using 3 of my farmer bots for an afternoon all running the SW2 profile and me sitting on my ass on my main doing nothing (I do not bot this account) while all in a group. Was getting 1400+ kills per hour doing this overall and it made the grind go much faster. I even had a fellow toon going after the title join my group near the very end of my grind after he wsped to join for the extra rep. Said "what the hell" and invited. The spawn time is high enough that even with 5 of us killing we got the rate up to 1900 kills an hour or so for the end of my run. I am sooo glad that that grind is over and I shall wear my title with pride!!

I did exactly the same thing, all I am left with now is getting junk boxes...
 
sry but when i used the profile for pick locking with my rogue its just target the npc without doing anything what kind of mistakes did i make?? help plz
