Hi, all,

Per the thread management rules, 11 posts have been archived since they did not contain a log that captured the issue described.

If you have a problem with which you need assistance, please clearly describe a single problem, and attach the full unedited log that captures the issue.

If the profile doesn't support checkpoints, your choice is to let it run, or find another profile pack with design goals closer to your desires.

Hi, Cevaps, and thanks for the report.

The profiles are constantly modified by various team members. Sometimes, the value gets set for True to assist in debugging them. Occasionally, a maintainer will forget to restore the value back to False before checking the profile in.

In v2696, this should be corrected. Thanks for the catch!

Quest: Paint it Red (first Vehicle Quest on the Battleship)

Toon just interact with the Cannon but doesnt fire, just stay inside and doing nothing.

*edit* All Quests with Collect something are buggy, looks like a QB problem. Quest: "The Meat theyll eat" toon just run around but the yellow turtle mobs are
all over, but doesnt get collected from my toon.

Hi, Tumbum, you've basically nailed this.

But its not a QB causing the issue, its HBcore's built-in "collect" version of <Objective>. The non-collect forms of <Objective> have similar issues, but they're not quite as obvious. I'm trying very hard to get this across the bow of the responsible developer, but he's plate is very full atm.

Hi, Sponges,

All the instructions you need to get started are in the first post. If those instructions are too terse, and you need explicit steps, there is a README file in the second post.

The .zip file is no longer provided--all content is now provided exclusively through Subversion. The profiles are still being updated several times a week. We've recently reflowed some work and added two zones to the pack.

keeps saying going to pick up quest and runs off do i need to get through the first part or something of it "pass the cinematics and the warship thing"?

Hi, Hyperr,

The profile pack tries to do the 'transition' quests that start in Orgrimmar, then take you to the Jade Forest and pick up from there.

If you've already done some content, starting 'part way through' may cause a little confusion for Honorbuddy. You will want to make certain that you've completed the 'transition'/breadcrumb quests in Orgrimmar. Then, I'd move to the Jade Forest, and to the first couple of quest in the Jade forest manually, load the "[H - Quest] 85-86 The Jade Forest [Kick]" profile, and try starting from there.

If you continue to have problems and need assistance, please attach your full unedited log to any follow up.

I seem to have a problem on "kill" type quests where the bot will move to it's hotspot and then proceed to move along a pattern searching for the correct mobs to kill but never actually attacks anything. Its as if it doesn't see them and just runs right past, only stopping if it happens to get aggro and dismounted. I've attached a log of the current quest it is on "Hungry as an Ogre!" in Dustwallow Marsh but this has been a constant theme in many different zones for the last few days. I've done a fresh HB install and a fresh Kicks profile install directly from the SVN. I've also delete the cache in both HB and the game folders. The log runs until it pulled about 8 Mirefin's, got dismounted and slaughtered.

Attached is a log for a quest in Jade Forest. The one to kill sha echos. For some reason its not calling singular and not attacking mobs. It just keeps running into the middle of the area where the quest mobs are, and then dies.

I have no idea what's causing this error, though I have a feeling it has something to do with some AuraID thing, because that's what I saw from skimming it. I turned on that plugin though and nothing changed. I'm going to attach my log... you can skip through most of it and just go to the bottom where the error is actually located. I can't run this profile anymore and I have no idea how to fix it.

We can see from the log that this is another instance of the malfunctioning HBcore "Collect" <Objective>.
[02:01:26.160 D] [QDBG] Starting behavior [ForcedQuestObjective Objective: [CollectItemObjective ItemID: 46392, Count: 5]].
[02:01:26.160 D] Goal: Goal: Collect Venison Steak x 5​

Unfortunately, the log is damaged, and consequently cannot be used for analysis--all the header information is missing. I tried replicating the problem in another context and have been unsuccessful so far. So, the search continues. When I can find a testbed, will get it to the responsible developer.

Bug Report:

Goal: Pick up item - Sharptalon's Claw (begins a quest)
Problem: Character killed Sharptalon, did not loot, then ran in circles looking for (I assume) another Sharptalon to kill.

Problem: Character runs right by the Ashenvale Assassin that it should be killing for the 5 quest items. HB does not target or engage. (same as post #193, HBcore problem)

Alas, your log attachment is invalid, so we can't analyze the issue.

I can tell you that navigational issues are not caused by the profile, and need to be reported elsewhere.

Both of these problems are not profile-related. The issue lies with HBcore's <Objective>. Hopefully, this issue will be repaired in the next Honorbuddy release.
