you mean give you the 3 altars coords?

just give me the quest names and i'll search and fix the issues. I fixed the ones in gloamwood (because silverwood was working when i originally did it - so it's a bot issue, but I don't mind compensating for it)
 
For hermes - erase you charachter settings archive in the Ryftomate folder, then restart the bot. Worked for me.

Small fix for the Guardians 1-6 profile...

The quest "Brood of Regulos" & "Fields Run Red", should be done together. Both quests end up killing the same NPC's...

Same goes for "Gathering Strength" and "Shot in the Back"

This is Hawker's baby, but i'll look into it. He may have done it separately on purpose (or accident, who knows). I'll have him check here
 
works fine both ways, just Hawker's takes a little longer... so I assume he made the mistake :S
 
if anyone wants to make my questing faster... the zone north of sanctum ... if you will thorough mesh that for me (not mass-mesh) - that would be fantastic

This is assuming you know where the questing areas / towns are.
Don't worry too much about perfection, I can fix stairs / towers easily on my end, mainly roads to / from questing areas, and in questing areas (the main paths inside / farming them)
If Hawker made a mesh of the zone already (for farming) you can use his as a basis. Also, getting me vendors / healers is great, too

If not, it takes a long time to run around the map and mesh, and then mesh while developing and fighting

I'm still in Scarwood (it's huge, that's what all of hte ladies say ;) )

Doing them separately gets a lot more experience as things re-spawn.

just wanted to let you know that I just finished Gloamwood and it worked like a charm. Only issue I really ran into is the pathing up to Tearfall Run could use some adjustments. The first time you are running up to the base, you can potentially run into a sourcestone that is filled with level 25s and you also have to kill a couple level 25s as well. I believe the first time I ran to the zone, I was 22 and I got raped. So the pathing for that could use an update.

Also, when doing the quests down towards the Darkening Deeps, I got stuck a couple times on huts. The bot would not target the poisons to blow them up, even after I had moved the bomb to my bags. I also had to manually move to and kill the mob inside the spider cave for the quest where you have to kill the three named guys. I should've written down the names of the quests...Dunno how much this info's really going to help you.

Additionally, and this really isn't your fault, but the last few quests when heading up to the hag have a huge density of mobs, and I died over and over at level 26. I finally had to stop using the bot and complete the missions on my own. It kept spawning me right in the middle of 4 mobs, I would kill one and then get killed by the other 3. I dunno if even a path correction would fix the issue, but the last quests were pretty unforgiving playing with a warrior.

All in all, Gloamwood questing was very smooth. I give it a solid A- in its current form.

i'll look into it (or have someone) when it's re-ran

do note: hotspots in the future are extremely helpful so I can go there and look at the mesh (there's no magic tool like HB to look at the mesh :( )
 
yeah, when I get through the current files you have, I'll see if I can go back and find the hotspots. I plan to run a healing class next time and I bet it'll be fine.
 
I just finished Scarlet Gorge. Very nice job on the quests there.

These quest profiles will almost be perfect when Hawker can figure out the target ground issues and the new quest bag (hint hint ;))
 
Thanks for the update, Kickazz. I posted a question in the update thread. In case you don't see it there, does this also fix the target ground function, as well as the singed hives quest?

I'll be finishing Scarwood reach tonight and give you some feedback on that. One quest that had me a little confused with scarwood was the quest where you are to pick up the medicine pouches. The bot stops and requires you to do the quest on your own, but I don't understand why. It seems like it would be the same coding as the other quests where you move to a location, check for the item and pick the item up if its there. Am I missing something?
