It's possible, but not by the next release. I am not really sure how that would work with FishingBuddy since FB locks your movement a lot, so it'd take some testing and hooking into it to make it happen.

I have completely re-done this addon to make it more consistent. I am now using the coroutines instead of what was there, so hopefully it should work better.

I'll hopefully have another release out soon and then if all goes well with that release, I can add something for fishing barrels.
 
In Suramar, the plugin isn't using Decayed Whale Blubber/Ravenous Fly or Message in a Beer Bottle/Axefish Lure for some reason.. Any ideas why? I have it all set up and active.

This is a very common issue, apparently. If you are in Suramar, it will only use lure from Suramar. Blizzard didn't make it very easy to determine which is which. If you are fishing up stuff for "Open Ocean" (indicated on first page), it won't use that stuff unless you are on "Broken Shore" or "The Great Sea". If you are trying to fish up Suramar stuff, you are in the wrong spot. If you want to fish up Open Ocean stuff afk, you need to go to somewhere that lists those 2 Zones on your map.

All people have told me is "I am in Suramar", but haven't specified. If there's a sub-zone, I can add, but if I add Suramar as a Zone for Open Ocean items and you are in a different spot, the items may not work there and will be wasted.

I looked this up and I don't think it is realistically possible. Fishing Buddy has a lockdown of movement that I'd rather not try to hack around. I would just wait out them updating it for pool fishing. Until then, you can at least use this to use the lures.

Ahh ok, I'm fishing in Azuregale Bay (Jandvik bay area) using LogiNekos profile. along with the usual Suramar baits, the Decayed Whale Blubber/Ravenous Fly and Message in a Beer Bottle/Axefish Lure also work.

I will add this in with my next release. The next release is working really well so far! It will also throw the fish back if you want it to.

I have promoted a new release. This new release now uses Coroutines with External Tasks which will be much more consistent. However, I did not add the Suramar baits quoted as part of this release. I'll add that in a day or 2 from now with a new release.

I will be updating the front page shortly with "Verified Lures" so you can tell which ones have been verified working or not. I need info from people on which ones are valid and which ones are not.
 
Thanks alot for this. It works pretty well after watching for about 30 min. Will Let run and see what happens. Just got the artifact so im Fresh.

Is it possible to add the option to Throw away the "Skrog Toenail"? This is the item that summons an aggressive murloc?

You don't throw that item. Simply picking it up gives you the buff.

Skrog Toenail - Item - World of Warcraft

This item can be obtained while fishing in Azsuna. After it it is obtained, you receive the buff Skrog Toenail; on expiration of this buff, a Murloc mob is summoned - Salteye Skrog-Hunter. When killed, this mob will drop Aromatic Murloc Slime.

Note that Skrog Toenail disappears from your inventory when the Salteye Skrog-Hunter spawns.

No. I decided I'm going to let FishingBuddy update to do that.
 
I hope i will explain it well, but when u're farming barracuda on suramar, the plugin sees that you are in suramar, and it won't cast axefish lure cause the map says that we aren't in open water. I will post a log when i'll run that farm again, in addiction.

It's a known bug. The issue is if I just add in to use those in Suramar, it'll use them *everywhere* in Suramar, which is not good. Blizzard just happened to allow these just here. What you can do is the area you are catching the Open Ocean lures at, run this in the Developer Tools > Console and paste it here and it'll give me the zone and Subzone and I'll add it in.
