If someone is retarded, it has to be you for not understanding what people have discussed. The figures mentioned are when you sell an item for gold and then sell the gold, so it's 1-(1*0.85*0.85*0.85)=1-0.614125=38.5875% in fees, before you have your money at paypal.

put the item on the GAH for 15% more than wanted... there... simple that 15% is cut right off the factor...

I think the title was to sell gold now or wait... not how much was the factor of end result profit loss... I dont count GAH factor because it is not a deduction after checkout... It is all internal to the game....

and honestly why are people selling gold on the AH... buying items and selling them still more logical. $1 +15% beats your "39% loss" High end items dont sell for as much, but in relative price to gold I have made ALOT more.

There's a bigger market to sell items for gold? There are a ton of items 1-20mil that I could never sell on rmah, but sell for gold within a couple hours when priced right.
