Just watched a full uldum bot clear(Us)

So I'm all questing out in Uldum trying to get my rep straight. Some guy comes out all talking about reporting the botters. So anyways he starts saying peoples names and start saying they are all in 70 pvp gear being level 84 and all this stuff guess he armory stalked everyone in the zone too.

So anyways he spouts off a ton of names.....about 20 mins goes by he pops back up in /1 and goes thank you for the fast response.


Uldum 30+ people went down to about 6 in under 10 mins

all the lvl 80,81,82 gone the 85's the 83,84,s in wrath gear....I assume when you open a ticket now the GM's are not taking the messgae they are actually coming out to investigate it then.

Would explain alot

Not sure how I would get any anyways, not like I went to Uldum and expected this to happen. Just questing minding my own business. Not 1 to really care and take a screen shot of the who list everytime I enter a zone. Its something that happened at 3 am on a est server.

Just threw me for a loop never seen something like that happen before
 
if it happens again, at least mash the printscreen button on your keyboard and get the text in the chat.

Wish I had the who before, but here is the aftermath. 1 can argue its a low pop realm. Its a Med/High but take it as you may.

Thanks for this, will add it to my Warden plugin to watch general channel if possible as well.
 
Yeah man... saw the same, only it was in Orgrimmar and half the server just disappeared..

I remember seeing such a thing, and the people were naming the characters in General.
 
Sorry but I honestly think Swizzie is a liar. They don't ban right away. One again, this is another thread to scare people and is not needed. Wish a mod could delete this thread or lock it.
 
Well I don't know if it was a lie or not. One thing is for sure, tickets are been answer quicker. I did some LFR on a few accounts around 9ish to 11ish and by 1 am I had a email of Sexual Harassment. I was doing some trolling in general and got reported. Not saying they are acting quicker but, they are answering tickets faster. I just got a warning. LOL
 
They are responding to tickets much much quicker on my realm. Months ago I put in a ticket and it took them a day or so to respond. More recently I've had to put in a few for different reason and it has been 5 minutes tops. Within 10 minutes of an evil comment in trade I was issued a warning. Usually it's a couple of days later and I've already forgotten what it was that I did.

I'm mainly on a lower population realm and I've also noticed that once prices get too low on things like minerals and herbs people start to go bot hunting. This is simply not true on the other realm I play on so just be aware of the trends on your realm. There are some common bot hunters as well. Anybody who whispers me randomly or I see posting in general I add to my friends list so I can keep an eye on them.
