Just Some General Questions Of A Noob

I used Hawker's Lvl 1-20 Guardian Profile doesn't loot properly(goes to loot menu but doesn't auto click "loot all") and sometimes my pet will be targetted thus going into combat, but I won't even though on the log, it says "Face ____" and why doesn't it use all my skills? It uses 1 ranged skill and then it goes to autoattack. It doesn't even use my quick shot.

So all in all:
1) Looting problems
2) Targetting problems
3) Attacking w/ skill problems

Could someone please explain this to me in reasonable detail? I would much appreciate it because if I get this to work properly, I will definately buy a couple months' subscription (on a trial atm).

I am on a level 18 Rogue Guardian with Ranger, Marksman, and Assassin.

If you also have a Profile that you suggest I use, that would be great too!

Well, your first problem is you made a Guardian character, they are for hippies and the gays... Heheh.

You need to have auto loot enabled, it's in the menu options. Secondly you need to follow the guide on what souls to use as the bot has a specific setup, that is why your abilities with those 3 souls are not being used because the default rogue routine does not use that soul build you have.

As for targetting, I think it will be fixed once you enable auto loot.

I see... I have auto loot enabled, followed all the instructions on the beginner guide, and even tried restarting my computer, but I still have the same problem: It will open up the loot menu, not loot, and reopen the loot menu, repeat.

As for the skills, I guess I will have to respec... or make a new character since I am too lazy to do the quests that give me the certain souls.

Reading through the other posts, I checked to make sure that my xml and mesh files are correctly labeled.... what's the problem with my bot?

I feel like my precious time of the one day trial is fading away T.T

Okay, so I bought a new role and did the two quests for bard and bladedancer and followed the build shown in Hawker's post but STILL auto loot doesn't work. Same problem.
The log comes up with:

It just stands infront of it and just reopens the loot menu like 8 times before it gives up!

I swear if I could get auto loot, I would buy the bot for a month at least. Jesus this is so frustrating >=(

Are you bags full bychance? And you have the auto loot in the Rift menu options enabled? I just want to make it clear I was talking about the Rift auto loot option in the game, and not the one for Ryftomate.

You fixed it. As a total newcomer to this game and genre, I had NO idea there was an auto loot option in the game.

I thank you and I shall buy a full month's worth of sub as soon as this one ends.
