***Notice of Account Closure***
Account Name: WOW1
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy
This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.
Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.
We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Blizzard Support
The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.
If you believe your account was compromised, please submit an in-game petition or fill the contact email form at http://us.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml?locale=en_US. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html
For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: Blizzard Support

It's about time I got banned! I'm really not surprised at all lol. I was EXPECTING it ever since the first time I sold gold. I put in an appeal, hopefully they reverse it. If not, oh well, no biggie!
Here is my appeal letter (I never reported my account compromised or has it ever been compromised, though for some reason I got sent password reset emails from Blizzard in the past and GM replies):
"Uhhh why did you guys ban me. I've reported 2 times my account was compromised and changed password. I even cancelled my subscription a couple days ago to take a break hoping whoever is using my account will go away. This really frustrates me as I have reported to you guys my accounts been compromised, not only once, but twice, and you guys investigate and say nothing is missing- everything is ok... How is nothing missing when ALL my gold is gone, makes me wonder if you guys even did a thourough investigation.
This is the response I got from a GM on 6/26/2011 after reporting my compromised account:
Greetings,
Thank you for contacting the Game Master Department. We have reviewed our logs of your account. The account does not appear to have been accessed by an unauthorized user, and no damage was detected to any of your characters. Fortunately, it appears as though your account has been unharmed!
If you intended to use the webform to simply retrieve your account's password, you can also retrieve it from this page:
https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html
Once there, use the "I think I forgot my password…" option on the left-hand side. This page can also be accessed by clicking "Can't log in?" from the Battle.net login prompt. Once you provide your registered email address, your name, and the answer to your secret question, a temporary password will be sent to your registered email address, which you can use to log in to your account and choose a new, permanent, password.
If there is something that was missed or still needs to be done, you can click the ‘I still have a problem’ button, and we’ll be notified. Thanks!

So yeah, I feel I have been wrongly accused, and should GET MY DAMN ACCOUNT BACK ASAP. If you will not reverse this wrongful ban, please refund the remainder of my subscription money, as I will never play World of Warcraft again, seeing how in competent Customer Support is..."
