There's reasons behind the problems, some are technical and some were simply errors in judgement. If it applies, you've been offered a refund. If it doesn't, you've been offered an apology.

Since some of you are so big on business, how it should be run, what the owners should do, etc. I direct you to the ToS you agreed to when you purchased this product: this product is provided "as is" and without guarantee. If you didn't read the ToS then that's too bad, its your job as a consumer. Maybe they should start bitching at you for not doing YOUR job.

at a product you use to cheat in a game.. now read that again... how lame does that sound?

looking at HB, fighting against blizz, and having o so many customers, doing theyre best trying to keep this bot going

delivers the same satisfaction that this bot does. Its not working now... o /facepalm. When it works again, its top notch...

No idea what you use the bot for but it makes me money, you know the kind I spend on goods I want, so to say I use it to cheat a game is wrong. Other than that you sound like a sanctimonious prick of the highest order how about you fuck off and stop reading these threads if you dislike them so much.
 
you fanboys are ridiculous. we paid. bot STILL doesn't have an official release. Get off HB's nuts. It sucks right now.
 
All of you agreeing with OP, saying this is a business/service that is paid for and thusly it should have 100% uptime, is understandable if we lived in a vacuum. However, last i checked we still live on Earth and unforseen circumstances which cause downtime for a business can still occur that are out of any business owner's control. Granted I do not know the details of the problem nor do I care and I agree that I just want the service to be fixed, but complaining about it does not fix it any faster. in fact it can be argue that it actually slows the fixing down because the business will in turn have to respond to all the complaint support tickets/forum posts, whether this is true in this case I cannot speak to, but unless you can provide the wonderful devs behind HB/GB2 with a solution(to what I can only imagine must be a tricky database problem) please stop complaining and wait for it to be fixed
 
It's worked 100% for my uses (Lazyraider, questing, grinding). Sorry if you haven't had a chance to enjoy it.

Sad you don't even know what the problem is, or what you agreed to when you paid for the product. The auth server situation is what it is, get over it or ask for your refund.
 
Just let it go, this is not a normal business. THEY DON'T CARE. you read it from bossland himself: "we don't have enough devs, we don't have anyone that will do a thing during the weekend". What does that actually mean? Means "we refuse to spend the several 100 dollars, or even several thousand, to make our product work". despite the fact they have tens of thousands of customers, each payed at least 30 EU, and their entire product line is 100% useless - no one can even log into the WoW and Diablo bots.

If and when the server issue is fixed, you all are STILL paying to beta test HB, for the foreseeable future. They refused access to any dev build for MONTHS of beta, changed and broke the bot, and now we're in the middle of months of repair since what actually makes this bot do anything - the dozens of independently coded plugins, botbases, CCs - need to be redone by their authors. You can't leave this bot alone at the present time, it needs constant human interaction to do anything properly. Can you quest, archeo, dungeonbuddy, does singular work properly, does grindbot? nothing works as it should.

point is, trying to appeal to them about better business practices and proper customer service is useless. they know, they don't care.
I have a feeling we are approaching some final resulution on their court cases vs Blizzard and they are just trying to sell as many bots as possible while spending the absolute minimum possible until it all gets shut down. well, except their android game app, they still got that, maybe that's what the devs are busy on.

At least i can start to keep up my tv-shows, my game doesnt suck my internet connection completely.

I've been a member of this service for a very long time, and a very happy one at that.

I'm aware that recently a host of issues have arose with the operational side of this product. I've seen many members both user and staff alike do their very best to offer solutions to the problems that we currently have. All of them to no avail.

I've seen some people directly connected with the service point out that the actual software is functioning normally but that the servers are failing. This is of no consolation.

I've seen other post about how the service is not working and complain that they are paying for a non-functioning product. I've watched as hordes of blindly loyal people have risen to defend a service which should be held accountable for its failures. While you're all berating people for questioning as to why they are paying for a non-working service and telling them that their money should constitute some downtime or that they need to expect the service to be non functioning for some undetermined amount of time because a new expansion came out, no real fixes are being implemented, we have been told that the service was downed by a serious internal user error, and that the fix has no definitive time frame. If your internet service provided began to work intermittently over the next week, you would all be calling their support number day and night to get it fixed, lauding how you pay for the service and it should work. The same is true here.

All that aside. I want no internet "war" or to see some large battle of people from varying age groups, backgrounds, geographical locations, and academic status begin to throw words at each other to see who is superior. If you choose to respond to this message with that intent, then you do nothing but delay the outcome we all desire.

The point of this post is to tell those in charge at this service. Just fix it already.

Before the inexperienced and delusional pseudo-connected to the service groups begin to tell me how impossible that is, let me stop you. I don't care about them not begin able to find workers that will put in weekends. I don't care about the circumstances that caused the issue. I don't care about how hard it is to fix. And if any of you had any sense of how business works, after the time you've waited, neither should you.

I'll return to my previous analogy. If you lost your internet connection you would be uninterested in excuses from your provider such as, "We can't find anyone to put in weekends" or "The issue was caused by a stupid mistake, we're really sorry."

No, it doesn't matter if you paid for this service once ten years ago or every day as you go. You paid for it. The price was one that the company chose. I didn't argue my way down from their number. They asked me for a certain amount of money for a lifetime of service. I agreed to their fee and paid it happily. Now they have, at least temporarily, stop providing me that service.

I don't want a refund. I don't want to hear about all the reasons why you can't do your jobs. I don't want to be hear about how sorry you are. I just want the service to work.

I realize this may seem harsh to some of you. Those of you who read this and think it comes off as cruel or unfeeling have most likely never been in real to life business situation involving a client and a provider. I can tell you for a fact that clients do not care about the problems of their providers. They will often give some small leeway based on extenuating circumstances but after that, they demand the service in which they are paying for. Refunds do not help clients because they paid for the service for a reason. They want or need it.

So in closing, as this will be my final post on these forums in regards to this issue, I beseech you, please just fix it.

OP should work in the IT industry. He obviously knows everything about the fast food industry, he must know everything in every other industry.

Anyone who disagrees with the OP has no clue how a successful business runs/works. If you chose to be against the OP, then you are one of the millions who try to start a business and fail miserably. A truly successful business and product thrive by going ABOVE and BEYOND the norm to please PAYING customers. The excuses that it's down for days is unacceptable...PERIOD.

You are an absolute fool and have no idea how businesses become successful. They don't become successful by babying their customers, they become successful by ripping off their customers, without the customers realizing it.

If they knew what was wrong with the auth servers, they would have fixed it already moron. They need time to perform tests on it to track down what's wrong with it, this all takes time. Just be patient and know that they are trying their hardest.

I totally agree with pdmason. I has not been working proberly the last, what? 3 months or so... How can it take 3 months to fix these problems. I dont get it

If it hasn't been working for you for 3 months, your problem is user error. The only issue with the bot has been the past two weeks.
 
Downtime is okay.. 2 months downtime isnt, the bot hasnt been working problerly for a LONG time

I dont know about you but I dont wanna give away money just for the kicks.

nah, the bot hasnt been working properly for 2 weeks. It worked for me untill i logged off today and tried to log back in... auth faillure.

Just cause you had problems for a long time, doesnt mean everyone had.

I don't run it. I run HonorBuddy. HB has been working just fine.
