4)What combat class were you using? FPSWARE Mage

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 5 hours Archaeology when I sleep Hour or so if I watch

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 80%

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 10ish

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? NO

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No I did move 2k from my guild bank twice in 30min time for bigger bags.

10)EU or US realm? US


Most the time when I bot its archaeology bot to level. Because I think there is less of a chance people will report me. I also have it get the herbs and/or ore as it flys from spot to spot. I was trying to bot some Honor with BG Bot today but was watching it very close and fixing it when it would go rogue. I have yet to get an email from blizz as of right now. At the time I was ban I was playing by hand. In a raid not even having Honorbuddy loaded
 
Yes they do. I just came back too after a year and a half so it was my main. Just got my tank over 380 avg iLvl :( I'll make a come back after the new year. only thing that sucks just got 2 months free from inviting people and put 2 month card on it...... So where is the best place to buy keys at now?
 
Oh and soon as I seen I was ban I hurried and installed authenticator and reset my PW to try and build reliability :)
 
if you were on it not botting when you were banned, appeal it asap.
make it look like (which you actually were) you were there, say what you were doing and be specific etc

"ive never botted in my life, i was raiding and all of a sudden i got this ban, wtf, as a paying customer i feel like thats messed up accusing someone of this, i guess its time to move to SWTOR" something like that. most people in billings job is to keep you subscribing.
 
no worry about the suspension or whatever...i got that kind of ban almost every week...and it is very easy to unban it
 
and it is quite important to play with ur IP address and MAC address this is what i think...

Yeah, you should be okay, but now that you got this suspension, who knows if you want to continue with it, because they will usually take further action. You got very unclucky, I've had HB for a week and leave it on all night *8+ Hours) either BG Botting, Gathering or Archaeology and even left it on for 24 hours once. Sorry to hear :(
 
So I finally got in touch with blizz on the phone. I never got an email about being ban. When I got to talk with them they did not know why I was ban. There was no notes on my account or anything at all. They unban me just now. I guess maybe the GM ban the wrong person or something.
 
Or he banned the right person, but forgot to write down somewhere why he did it. :) Grats on getting back in there
 
Strange very new here, but it sounds to me like you've been reported. I've seen a few bots around Uldum all for the same reason -Archaeology- but they all look too obvious. Eh, well either they're away or just sitting, either way it's a very rare report that probably earned you a suspension. For one I wouldn't bother to report an Archaeology bot. 1)It's an extremely RRNG(Random Random Number Generator) skill that doesn't involve any skill whatsoever but only opportunity so I have complete understanding....and well that's pretty much it. It's a really rewarding-unrewarding skill that has too many outcomes that don't benefit you to as much time is spent on most than it is to others. But there are bans like that, that aren't taken into precautions and can be easily avoidable doing the necessary. Babysitting, or taking more and longer breaks. Your server time may be very populated at this "overnight" period or maybe it was just a routine scan and some "loser" decided to report everyone (/1 chat) to see if anyone was a bot. Lay low on botting overnight and babysit during the daytime. Have some flexibility with your hours so maybe monitoring you wouldn't seem too suspicious Yeah, US GMs are a real plain but hey it's their job and whether executing their responsibilities or not would probably result in consequences.
