Tin ore, mageroyal, and briarthorn are farmable at skill level 1. It was changed in 5.0.4. I didnt know it, when I set up my bot to level mining and herbalism, i thought it was a bug. As some of you may know, Hillsbrad is full of herbs and ore, so its a lot faster leveling. Maybe this wont make a difference for you, I know it really helped me and sped up the leveling process.
