hey i have a few questions about the recent banwave, which i know nobody will be able to answer with a 100% certainty but i think at least the db staff would have alot of more info on those topics then i do.

im just wondering if the theory/fact is more likely that you made a mistake (forgot to enable something or anything like that)
or if there was just a pattern behavoir which got banned

i didnt bot for money, just for some exp and i have still both accounts, the thing is i wasnt really botting every day the last few weeks, so im myself also not sure which of those two they are banning

it just seems, they had so many opportunities to ban people for stats (for example all the guys who picked up 100mil in the first month of d3) and they (at least from what i saw) never bothered to look into stats or anything like that

i think blizzard is very lazy and they only use what they have, so still i just wanna know if the common theory from you (the db staff) is still "new algorythms for detecting bots" or did u maybe already found something in the db code which looks suspicious?

if noone wants to talk about it , or you dont have any info, its cool too, im just bored and curious so i thought im gonna start another conversation like there were 10000 before

hehe

its not something we forgot to enable :p

and from what we can see so far its not software detection

if you didnt notice its not only DB,other bots and some legit players got banned

its still under investigation but there is progress

thats all for now :)

more then i hoped for, im just happy that it still doesnt look like a software detection, cause then i seem good for now :) love ur guys, great programm keep it up

i am sure nesox is working overtime to try to fix this, the bot should be up and running soon,,,but the big problem we have at the moment is the chinese dupe which is going on for the last few weeks.

i myself wonder if is still worth risking botting if this dupe does not get fixed - gold we find won't sell and good items to sell for money are very rare..

blizz hit us the botters thinking we are the culprits for the low gold prices...they banned more than 50% of botters but look the gold prices - still as low as ever and 10-13euro cheaper on some gold selling sites.

normally after a ban wave prices for gold go up,,,not this time though , because of the fucking chinese dupe..

gold price on some gold selling sites is 100mil = 12-14euro,, that is like 11-13 euro cheaper than the AH!

I dunno why some players got banned without bots.. but... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu blizz!
Anyway on EU server gold = 0.34

you wrong.

on eu ah = 0.25 (the lowest possible)

on chines websites = 0.12-0.14 , every 100mil is 11-13euro cheaper than AH .

there is a dupe going on for last few weeks..i hope blizz fix this soon , knwoing them could take a long time especially if the dupe is private

What makes you believe the 'legit' players that got banned aren't just spewing shit stories to get their bot accounts back?

i am talking about the streamers
It looks pretty likely that atleast the streamer zilean was botting. Would they really own up to it seeing as it would perhaps ruin some viewers opinions of them? I'm not convinced that legit players actually got banned

well i am not gonna try to convince you,you can read the forums
