Just a heads up, PQR 72 hour suspension wave, NOT HB

Could some one please answer me, so I don't do anything stupid; So that means that it would be stupid to use a Combat routine like TuanHAPpaladins and Lazyraider in raids or dungeons with Honorbuddy - or have I misunderstood something?
 
Galeru, don't bot on an account if you're afraid of losing it. It's as simple as that. No bot will ever be safe, no matter what you do to protect your account, it will always be at risk.

But the banwave was because of using a combat routine?
 
I got banned this morning, i use PQR for my arena needs and have been. I also use HB for my raiding needs and have been. The account has been active for 5 or so years without issues. No warnings etc etc etc. I dont use HB for anything but rotations, I have no need to farm anymore with it. I of course appealed it and played very stupid with the appeal.. stating ive never botted etc etc. I even went on a rant saying this was due to targeted harassment from other players in trade chat that dislike and have issues with me (i'm a bit of a troll in game lol).

We will see how this goes.
 
The banwave was not for anything related to HB. It's another program all-together.

The only relation they have is they are both rotation bots, but they are completely separate programs.
 
Main Account: lost, only used PQR for Raiding and Questing
Bot Account: HB only Professions, Gathering and LFR with LazyRaider still active.

Everyone knows about the risk. I loled hard ,as 4 dd's and me (heal) got disconnect at our raid.

One thing's for sure, if they start an HB banwave as well as PQR, my wow days are over. I have carpal tunnel from doing rotations manually for 5 years.

I can't and won't play without a rotation helper.

This is exactly how i feel as well. I remember raiding all these years on my rogue and hunter and i can't even imagine how many key strokes i've logged and how many nights after raids my hands/wrists would hurt like hell. I use rotation helpers just because of that alone.

wel i never used pqr but thnx for the headsup:) that show how honorbuddy is mutch better then pqr.

its a banwave on HB to ass all other bots i know becaus i never used pqr or other but i used HB and all 7 off the accounts is banned. so HB shoud get it down and fix the security befor relaunching it
 
Yea I ve never used PE/PQR and lost 5 accounts.
 
On topic, I've been using a custom CC for 6+ months now on my paladin with no issues whatsoever. Have been using it in LFR, Flex and Norms. I'd honestly be really surprised if HB accounts were being banned as a result of this unless you were doing really stupid shit like getting 200K+ DPS in an LFR with 522 ilvl. If you don't make yourself stand out I really don't see how you could've been flagged.
 
Several people that have been banned from PQR use have said that they've been told by customer service that the bots they were banned for have been detected for months.

How do we know that HB hasn't been detected for months and they're not just waiting to ban all of us, too? I'm betting on an HB banwave 1-2 days before pre-orders for WoD go live.

If you think that HB is safe, you're absolutely kidding yourself. Just take a look at the ban forums and you'll see anywhere from 5-20 accounts being banned every day.

If it's so safe, why all these bans?

Personally, I won't stop botting, ever. I know every time I turn on my bot, there's a chance I'll be banned. It's just something I've grown to accept, and I've grown to accept the fact that there's nothing safe about botting, no matter how many counter-measures I may take. Anyone that says any bot is safe, including and especially HB is straight up delusional. It may be safer than other bots, but that doesn't make it safe.
 
ive only ever had one account, and all i know for sure is after my suspension is up(or successful appeal), im making a new account used only for botting. I like playing wow, but i hate doing rotations. I used to do my rotations before I had HB, but once I found HB, i found it awesome that I wouldnt have to anymore. So i just wouldnt be able to go back to that. Would either switch games or just keep buying new accounts once they get banned like alot of people here do.

Same.. I started getting a few health issues a few years ago that affect my sight and nervous system and they are getting worse daily. It would be impossible for me to actually play by hand.
