Just a heads up, PQR 72 hour suspension wave, NOT HB

My guess is first time offenders like myself get the 72 hour, repeats get the perma ban hammer.
 
Seen a lot of perma bans. Don't admit to using anything in your appeal. Seen multiple peoples just get upheld.

I would wait a day then play dumb as hell in your appeal. Start listing a bunch of in game addons that you hope aren't the cause. Like Healbot or SGI etc.


Go on a rant on everything you use and say nothing has changed in your usage and you really don't understand what could have triggered this. Maybe it was your inferface change to the fonts or the models of your toons...

Again play dumb and just rant.
 
That won't work, Blizzard doesn't overturn 72-hour suspensions during a banwave. If your account was suspended during the banwave period, they know and you know exactly why it happened.

If it's a perma-ban, it may be worth a shot, but you'll never get a 72-hour overturned.

And really, if you can't go 3 days without playing wow, you really need to re-evaluate your life decisions and find some new hobbies.

This is correct. I appealed earlier and I threw everything but the kitchen sink at the conversation with the blizzard rep. Everything from show me proof to im paying for a service im not using and its not right.. Im not tech savvy so i dont know how to use hax, etc etc. They wont reverse it and she actually told me they've been monitoring for a while. When I mentioned people crying about it on the official wow forums, she said "the reason we gave a 72 hour suspension and not a perma ban in most cases, is because the people weren't aware this was considered bad". Keyword here IN MOST CASES.

Bottom line, count your lucky stars its only a temp ban, stfu and suck it up. You know what you were getting yourself into when you started botting. This is our life now. Deal with it.
 
It's not just repeat offenders that are getting perma-bans, too. One of my accounts that got a 72 hour suspension was suspended for 72 hours just last week from using HB. Apparently Blizz doesn't like it when you use Dungeonbuddy to farm raids for 24 hours straight.

Some people are just lucky when it comes to suspensions/bans, and some people can't ever catch a break.
 
really sucks... Perma banned here. I got a 72hr a few months ago for using HB to raid then i switched to PQR just to try it out and then havent logged in a couple weeks. I was waiting for WoD.

Agreed. It'll be fun to come back to the game after this, though, and see how the general population acts. I, for one, have no desire to out-DPS anyone on Recount now for fear of getting insta-reported.
 
It's weird to think that using Tyrael/Lazyraider would be low key compared to PQR, but it sure seems that's going to be the only way to play now.

I bet HB gets a bunch of new subscriptions from this.

Well you know how HB bots for you and everything is automated? PRQ just does your rotation for you. You must move yourself. Its inferior to HB in the sense that, you have to be at your PC while using it. I don't recommend it and anyone who uses it after this is asking for a perma ban.
 
Blizz is brilliant. They are banning 510k people and bringing out the preorders for the next expac and handing out free 90's very soon. Said people that are banned will be ponying up for the free 90's to get back raiding.

So that means that it would be stupid to use a Combat routine like TuanHAPpaladins and Lazyraider in raids or dungeons with Honorbuddy? :)

Yeah, it does seem kinda coincidental that this huge ban/suspension wave comes on the heels of the new xpac. I'm a new player so I'm not sure if something similar has happened in the past, but who knows. I have a feeling regular players are going to be very hackusational now, though, if they're getting out-DPS'd by someone.
 
Thank Gosh? Really? I don't think I've heard that since 5th grade. You do realize that thanking "God" is not taking anything in vain, which is the point of saying "gosh" in the first place.

And your posting on a bot forum. If you use HB, your account is not clean.
 
It's almost guaranteed that there will be a sale on new wow accounts here in the next couple of days to make up for this. There always is after a banwave.
