JSub Rogue - A level 85 Sub PVP CC -- Updated 2/9/12

Welcome to JSub Rogue!​

This CC only supports Sub.​
What does it do?
  • Stealths when a target is found and opens with ambush.
  • Utilizes Sprint to reach its target.
  • Utilizes Shadowstep to reach its target.
  • Kidneys with 5 points.
  • Eviscerates with 5 points.
  • Interupts casting.
  • PVP Trinket is now working. ---NEW---
  • And more!


What it wont do... YET!
  • No Poisons.
  • Racials not supported yet.


Coming soon.
  • Support for pvp on use trinket.
  • Apply poisons is in the making, almost done!!!




Change log:

v1.0 - 2/9/2012
  • Backstab is now used!!
  • Evasion is up again.
  • Cloak of shadows is up again -- Logic isnt that great but works.
  • Premeditation shouldn't be casted if not in LOS

v0.2.1 - 1/30/2012
  • Fixed the logging, doesn't spam as much.
  • Attacks wont spam while on GCD. Abilities wont go off until off GCD.
  • Only Cataclysmic and Ruthless movement impairing trinkets are supported.
v0.2 - 1/27/2012
  • Fixed minor issues with Shadowstep and premeditaion. (Should only use when in line of sight)
  • Blacklists target for 10 seconds that are bubbled,iceblocked, barksin ...etc.
  • Evasion, cloak, vanish and readiness were disabled for right now, currently working on making the code better.
v0.1 - 1/24/2012
  • Initial release for basic testing.

Edit: Have 2 things.
1: Can you make it stealth while standing idle?
2: Can you also make it sit on their butts at all times? It seems to target them, sit on them until they take like maybe 5 feet of distance and then it just sits there doing nothing behind them while they continue to attack teamates and such. But, if they continue to run it will start following them. So it's like there is a couple seconds of pause between it all.

I havent implemented backstab yet, when i do its gonna try and stay on top almost all the time. Also i still need to make my logging better, I just rushed it out without doing the logging correct. If you have crip poison it helps alot with runners.
one more thing what do you mean stealth while idle? like when waiting for a bg to start?
 
What he also could mean, (and I'm interested in too) is idle stealth, like when in an arena at the beginning.
 
hmmm I never thought about using this for arenas. The problem I see about arenas though is the fact that there are too many comp possibilities that you can face and keeping a target as priority would be a pain and making switches and all kinds of crap I can see going wrong... Basically I couldn't see any CC in arenas going past like 1k rating. This is more tailored for battle grounds and I don't plan on trying for arenas. Though im still interested in this idle stealth thing??
 
what i mean by stealth in arenas/bgs is just like when the rogue is sitting there waiting or just wandering around keep him in stealth. My personal preference for most bgs is to not use the mount because honestly I don't want them to see me run up with a mount and know that there is a rogue around since it stealths right after it runs up. Basically just keep him in stealth when not in combat at all times.

2nd: The thing about the sitting on their butts - if you use EzArms by mast you'll see what i'm talking about. :D
 
Ah ok cool I see what you mean, ill look into that. As far as sitting on someone ill take a look at ezarms, i made some changes on the distance issue and hopefully that will work out.
Another thing you can try is change the pull distance to like 100. I currently have mine set to 50 to keep distance while it pulls.

Tried this in WSG today, and he got stuck at tunnel entrance/exit when there were people on the other side. He would then run into the wall trying to reach them.
Also if they had their back against the wall, he sometimes tried walking into the wall to get to their back. Looked a little weird :-)
Worked great, I will test it more tomorrow. Maybe also in Arena! Keep up the good work ;)
 
what probably was happening was he was trying to shadowstep while target was not in los. it was happening to me, i was in AV at a tower trying to step up to a pally at the top of the building and started to run in circles lol. I have a general idea for the fix and will release a new one tomorrow with some cool features ive been working on. Thanks for the bug!

would u like to add cloak of shadows to the cc? ^^
 
Thanks!! The first release had cloak of shadows but was really buggy, so I disabled it for now and it will be back soon.
 
Looking for people to test this CC with the other bots like gatherbot, combat... etc
 
Used this CC last night, I am very impressed.

My Bot went 15 - 2 and looks extremely human like.

With the addition of Trinket now, pretty sure this is the best Sub PVP CC.

Can't wait to try this out! Does it work for lower level rogues too or just level 85's?
