Jan 23: Will D3 1.07 Patch come out in time to fight against PoE's Open Beta?

Will Blizzard be willing to take any action (or inaction) against PoE's Open Beta? Is PoE even worth a threat?
 
nobody cares fore PoE ... its like torchlight 2 some idiots in the forum say oh it so good blabla and a few test it a few hours and then come back to d3
 
Yeah, i tried poe, i cant beleive i even gave those guys 10$ as someone said poe is good follower to diablo 2. Omg the fail... 0 responsivness, combat is pretty much spam 1 spell over and over, skill tree has 90% useless skills such as +10 to str, +10 to vit, melle weapons +6% dmg etc... I dont think we will see anything in terms of gameplay mechanics even close to d3, sadly though the itemization and customization is a different story in d3.
 
that game has 10 time better game mechanics than d3
and eventually it will become very popular
you will see
 
wtf googled it - PoE is real path of exil or?

if yes looks soooooooooooooooo bad.

Also, the game forces you to pickup every white-trash item and a townrun every 1 to 5min to stay competitive. Townruns can actually bankrupt you because "Town Portal scrolls" are considered as a form of currency.

So due to the expencive town portal scrolls you are actually forced to fill your inventory with crap items so that you will have to TP even more often? - Logical.

Either you run out of "Scrolls of Identify (Wisdom)" or "Scrolls of Town Portal". Make a choice.
Currency - Path of Exile Wiki

If Path of Exile dev want to make money, they can start by selling inventory space and/or bags.

Never gave this game a try and I'm not going to. I watched kripparian play it for a while, the game tried to convince but it just couldn't transcend.
 
PoE is pretty awesome by concept, but by no means it's a competitor to diablo 3 in any sense. It's nowhere near as friendly to casuals as D3, and let's face it - the casuals rule games now.

Only on low lvls. i play HC PoE and after few lvls u dont care about white anymore. i just sometime pickup if good sockets rolled then transmute it to rare.
Because u pickup more scrolls from barrels / monsters etc Something like 5-10 Scrolls per run.

It was same as in Diablo2 when u have hard times on low lvls with TP scrolls;).

seriously guys you can't even compare it to d3 only cuz of their budget, they created that game with about 200,000$ if i remember (theres a post on their forums) and by some really bad fans of rpg games so the game really looks good and didnt took 12years to release it :) i bet they could do a way much better with more money ... the gameplay is not that bad, UI indeed is really crap.
