I don't want to say stuff that I was told, because if something is wrong and their release schedule changes: they will get drama and it would be my fault.

it will be worth waiting for im sure, ( then they can get the PVP us to standard :P :P )
 
Maybe a tester could give us a brief idea of how the system works?
 
It's really simple..... You just have some hotspots in a XML file and tell it any quests not to do if you don't want those done for whatever reason (say it's handing in 5 Iron bars, some Engineering stuff etc).
 
I'm gonna have to say I'd agree with Xillidan, kinda like a strip tease you know what I mean?

I don't get it, why don't the old problems get fixed before releasing new stuff?
 
Ah, so does the bot gets information on where it needs to be from quests, and that's why you don't need many hotspots?

Then I assume you'd only need hotspots for quest hubs..

I don't think I'm alone when I say this, but I think I would much rather have them do something that is going to be pretty much impossible to detect, than have them update an everlasting running in circles bot that moves spots after grinding the same area for 8 hours... Know what I'm trying to say?

Questing ( less likely to get caught & banned ) > Grinding ( obvious bot is obvious )
 
At least this shows the community is excited about the release of the new beta, good motivation for the devs :)

Im just gonna wait it out until tonight and take it for a testdrive once it's there :D

Im still wondering how it will find the quests, and know what to do though.. it would take a massive database to hold all that info.
Hopefully some "get your loremaster for free" profiles pop up soon, id love to see that ^^
 
Hmm, can we have an honest time span for this release? ( at least when it is supposed to be other than just saying " today " ) I'm stoked for this and want to try it as it is released but if it won't be coming out til noon my time, I'm gonna pass right out and just wake up tomorrow sooo if we could get a range like between 1-5 hours or something like that that'd be tight :P
 
similar position here lucky, need sleep badly but really want to get it going first :D
 
Definitely I mean it would be glitchy, but it'd be worth it lol even for a half hour before I pass out :P
