Been botting since 30 January and didn't get banned so far.
I supervise my bot 100% - (I log off when I'm out of the computer - I have dual monitors, so I watch him all the time).
I'm going to stop botting to play legit, did anyone had any experience regard this - used to bot, stopped and didn't get banned or did get banned?

Maybe this decrease the chance to get banned?
- I purchased 200m gold for $50 from AH using my PayPal account - never traded gold with gold sellers.
- Sometimes I play with a friend to farm items or keys and rarely play public games

Thanks for any input.

Impossible to say, but if you start botting, expect to be banned.

my cousin survived 18/12/12 and stopped botting - he haven't been banned yet - i think they only are capable of saving x amount of data, so that if you survive a ban wave and stop there after I think you would be quite safe, but again no one really knows so its pure speculations.

So you botted for ~14 days, and have not experienced living through a banwave yet. IMO. 100% not safe. Unless you personally live through a banwave that hits 95% of DB pop(or a shitload of peeps), then there is no reason to think you will walk away unscathed.

I botted 3 toons to 60 on my main, never got banned- while my everyday botting accounts always banned. My brother has 2 botting accounts since the beginning, never got banned. But he does not bot everyday 24/7 like me. He can go weeks without botting. I think if you time it right, your safe. Like if its been over a month since you last botted your safe.

I've botted my one and only botter account since about the time I made this forum account, maybe a couple of months before when I never really knew of demonbuddy. I often bot for 72hours+ without breaks, unless the client crashes, but generally up within the hour.
I generally wait about a week after a patch incase a new system for detection is implemented in some round-about way.

Not been banned yet. That's not to say I won't be.

I think the real danger seems to be botting multiple or even dozens of clients off the same MAC addressed machine, my bot generally runs off my now solely D3 botting laptop, while I play legit on my main PC.

You probably won't be banned, but I wouldn't put top tier super expensive items on it either. Good luck living in fear.

<-- Bot 20+ accounts on the same network (no VM ware either).. Running 2 machines. Haven't been banned since last wave and prior to that, wasn't banned since release.
