And what happens when all the bots quit and you cant find a damn thing on the AH.
Still A mystery to me why any one cares in a game that is not an MMO

You do realize even when gold drops in price, people will leave, then gold price will go back up as less people will be inflating the economy. This is basically like playing the stock market, but with a lot less risk of other peoples money.

I don't get why people don't get this. I spent a good hour trying to convince my friend that bots aren't destroying D3, that bots aren't stealing drops from him, etc...

maybe less question marks????????????????????????????????????????? less emoticons :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Bots do not steal drops from him.... What bots do is lower the value of the rare drops he does get. Either way it screws the none botter.

Sorry, but no it doesn't at all. In fact, botting helps the average player. If it wasn't for botting, I wouldn't have been able to gear up for A3 on two newly created bots for under 2 million gold. Anyone can easily buy great stuff at cheap prices these days due to botting. Sure, it drops the value of what they find, but the average player isn't looking to make big money.

Say what you want to justify your action.

Do you know why it is illegal to print our currency? Because it DEVALUES the value of currency created legal. You printed your own money and claim its justified basically, because you did not want to endure the hardship of earning / playing the game to increase your game ability.

The average player wants a sense of accomplishment, knowing wow I got this kick ass wiz item, to bad I am a monk. I will go sell it for xxxxxx in the GAH/RMAH so I can buy me something for my class.

The problem is those items are worth way less because of the inflation of bots. If you do not understand this simple process you lack the mental ability to even really troll. I am truly sorry that you have blinders on so thick you do not see and understand this. I will not even bother going into the way botting has decreased value of gold in RMAH and has drastically fucked the normal player.

Now I am not saying we are bad people for botting. Just don't be stupid and think it has no negatively effect the rest of the people playing the game.

So all items are less worth, so this monk u mentioned will sell it cheaper and buy monk item cheaper.

BOTs are one thing. Blizz made mistake with 1.0.5 decreasing difficulty while increasing drop rate. I knew they wanted good (ppl play mp5,6,7 etc and buy better items) but in the end 99% players stick with MP0

Because you enjoy that does not mean the others trying to actually play the game for fun enjoy this. Also, just because some items are cheaper, items they may need are way more expensive. Since botters spend less time actually playing they change how the value actually plays out both ways, some items go down, some items go up.

The drop rate increase on blizz was bad I wont argue that as its pretty obvious. Just don't try and blow hot air up someones ass saying botting doesn't effect anyone since this is not a MMORPG.

I never said bots doesnt affect anyone. Do not make false interpretation. I wrote: "BOTs are one thing.". Just wanted to say about 1.0.5 that speed up much more than bots. Before 1.0.5 (1.0.4 and below) it wasnt that bad even with bots. 1.0.5 +1-2 months and no casual need any item, because they can buy actmp0 set for 2 milions.
