Items per hour ( IPH )

im on 500 if not less iph, please give me any tips to help, running 4 barbs and a cm wiz, one 93 barb, 87 barb, 78 barb, 140k unbuff, 130k, 110k.

every char is on 24 base ms.

idk how to 1200.. \=

9 - 17m xp (2 have hellfire, all have ruby'd helms)
200-300kgph

I guess that the people with higher iph bot on high MPs, you'll probably need to have at least MP3 to have >1000 iph. And probably not picking up gems/plans/follower items and gold piles less than 500 helps as well. Some customized profiles and loot rules might also be helpful.

I can get only to 600-700 max, my bots are undergeared and cannot handle more than mp1 without dying all the time (i just sell everything valuable asap in fear of losing everything in case on sudden ban).

what MP are you doing? Profile are you doing? 1200 iph is pretty high just trying to replicate success

It's not the density, you'll get additional rare drops from higher MP levels.
+10% to drop additional rare per 1 MP level, IIRC. Maybe not much but it also helps to get iph up.
If you can oneshot enemies in higher MPs, like moodz83 then it might be well worth it.

I hit hard in mp1, I am about @ 720 item per hour now.

really wondering how much DPS u need to run that fast in mp3

Hmm, high IPH, but low amount of 63 ilvl rares and legendaries. Here's my stats after one MP5 A3 run - less IPH, but significantly more rares and legendaries.

maybe im misinformed. But isnt IPH a flawed metric since 1.0.5? Since every rare dropped by a lvl63 mob is capable of rolling 63affixes ilvl does only affect armor (weapons are the exception). Now someone who only picks up ilvl63+- will naturally have a high iph but will propably pick up less items per hour then someone picking up 58+ armor/jewlery

FYI weapons are not the exception. Their rolls are also based on mob level rather than item level.

However the base DMG is so low I don't pick up anything under 62.
 
Well, IPH is including all items. White/grey - legendary.

I'm having an issue with my bots on this. I am getting 450-550 IPH with my monks. I have 3, one at 95k dps, one at 105k, and one around 115k. They all have max move speed and 1 shot white mobs over half the time, and are capable of killing rares in a few seconds with some luck.

Why is my IPH so low? They do not pick up gems, tomes, follower items, or blues, and for rares it is only ilevel 60+ (55 for jewelry).

I'm obviously killing fast enough, as my GPH is always between 350 and 500k for each one (500k sometimes on the highest dps, who also has max MF and GF).

I've tried upgrading items and messing with stuff, but nothing seems to change it.
 
What do you mean by messing with stuff?
Some more things that affect IPH are "trigger range for non-elite combat" and avoidance settings in trinity.
And ofc your build matters. With 120k dps monk I did around 650 IPH.
 
I noticed on my barb going from mp0 to mp5 gone from 600 to 950iph but less items picked per hour.. so in the end i loot less items, weird huh?
