[ItemRules2] Gnillers Super-Tight Loot Rules

I am trying to use this script, only when i try to load it my demonbuddy cashes :(
 
As requested 3-4 times before now. Please leave this pricing discussion as it is here, i am not about to hear how everything i do is bad from you over and over. Please just make your own item rules as you clearly disagree with my vision in every possible aspect :) (if this sounds harsh to people reading the topic for the first time, read back on his previous posts).

Known ItemRules2 (Trinity) issue, set itemrules config > do not hit reload, hit save instead > hit start/stop in demonbuddy, if it crashes settings are saved anyway and work on restart this way :)

I may add this to FAQ as many people seem to walk into this recently.

... so just get a calc and replace the var with the numbers from the function
 
or simply put those items in your bag, enable gniller's loot config, push the townrunbutton and see if they're stashed or trashed. It's not that complicated.

You can then do the same again while adjusting the gnillerconfig.

I honestly don't understand why you always bother authors of really useful plugins and scripts with your douchbaggyness. Constructive criticism is something else. Now get your gnillerconfig done, or report bugs but don't blame everything on Gniller all the time.

If you want to keep items like this amulet , you need to set @GNILLERCONFIG to 418 instead of 100 [Default]

No shit, those 3 items were garbage. With gniller config at 200. which i will admit is excessive for multiple bots, I dont find that anything usefull gets trashed except items gniller has put on the "trash regardless" list like a 6 crit stormcrow or something of that nature. I recently set it to 180 because I dont have time to maintain my bots as well as I used to.

Are Gniller Loot Rules perfect for people who want to sell every single item worth 1 - 50 million gold? No, infact I would go as far as to say they are bad for that.

But that is the fucking point. They are Gniller SUPER TIGHT loot rules for a reason. Stop bitching.

When he puts out a loot rule set called Gnillers Super Casual Squeeze every 50 gold you can out of anything Loot Rules, I will personally come with you to that post and bitch WITH you if they trash items worth a few mil. And of course join you in your petition to sell 1000 items a day instead of 10.

Are you realy that stupid ? I just want to help quadrotony , to keep the items he want to. I personaly use Gniller Loot Rules with config at 150 and i like them. So dont talk like idiot :)

quadra what u don't understand is the reason of giller hard rules...
if u have 10 bot (not my case) u don't want lose 1 day just for check the stuff of all the bots and try to sell ... u don't care if something is trashed if this can save u lot of time...
ofc if u have the time u can just pick all and do the filter manually..
or u can just make a new script for looting rules.. isn't that hard... and soon or late u will be rewarded (in time price) ...
btw isn't possible to have a perfect rules... if u want only good stuff then u have to trash lot of stuff... if u want medium stuff.. then u don't trash anything ^^


PS when people say 1000+ iph ... is from the db window or from the log?
bc in the window i have 2200 and in the log 800

How to use this for non-English game clients?
ItemRules2 enables us to translate all item names to itemID by enabling the option shown below, all versions of my rules should work in any language this way!

My DemonBuddy crashes when trying to reload loot rules, what to do?
This is a known ItemRules2 issue, here is a work around:
Setup your trinity to use my item rules (do not hit reload script rules) > Save trinity settings and close trinity configuration panel > Stop/start DemonBuddy !

It may still crash but this way settings are saved and work on a restart of DemonBuddy :)

As for the storm crow stuff, this has been updated in the next beta :) the beta still seems a bit too empty to release as patch material but if you find other stuff like this: i consider this useful feedback and this is definitely being looked into!

Some items may still be left as being guaranteed trash as this was useful before going public (and still is running default configs) but may need adjustment for gnillerconfig to work completely properly. I don't spend to much time looking into this myself but with some direct info i definitely don't mind doing so :)

As for the rest of your post, you said most of what i think in a fairly unprofessional tone of speech :rolleyes: (i don't mean that in a bad way).

As for my lootrules not being useful to people that want to stash 1mil items, give me feedback (not so much directed to you, more in a general sort of speech) and i'll check it out. Most config calculations aren't tested at all and just seemed to be about right in my mind so they may need balancing, i just somewhat feel like i'm not going to do balancing on configs at all/before i feel completely comfortable with the defaults.
