Item sold for 7500?

if i would have found such an item i think i would be stupid enough to just go and insta put it in rmah for 250 :) i always rush to sell things :(

How can you make a transaction like this outside of the game with even a little safety? 7500$ paypal dispute inc

That would offer no protection to the buyer. You would need like some kinda digital escrow service, and then stream the item being traded as evidence or something? I'm immensely curious of the method used or service etc

It will be funny if he gets banned for not using the rmah for the purchase. Not only has this topic gone viral in the d3 community, he brags about it on his stream @ twitch.tv/hieven

It will be even more funny if Blizzard would announce another batch of legendaries (or buff the existing, like in 1.0.4) and that EF will become just an average/good 1h weapon.
bet the buyer is a Swiss, so he probably is swimming in cash. That won't even matter to him

And yes, i'm a little bit jelly, as all I can get from 4 bots lately is a despicable sh*t. Not even close to something of 50Eur value.

why not? and what if the buyer and seller are both in the US?

Did it sold for 7500 or 7500 worth in gold?

I ask this because I see photo's of a bank transfer with the amount of 7500euro and posts which indicate that he bought it for 40 billion gold.

If he did buy it with 7500 euro, Blizzard will ban him?

thanks for the info peshmarie. so if we want to do the same thing in the US, how can we execution the transaction?

that amount of cash would make me consider getting a lawyer involved.... for security, some sort of contract or something.

Amazing tho.... awesome echo ! I would never pay €7500 for a virtual item, mostly because I don't have that kind of cash lying around to wipe my ass with :)

I think people paying that amount of money are rich millionaires that can afford it....within millions of D3 player there are also these kind of people.
Still it is an insult to the global crysis..

do u guys just sell these things for IGG then try to convert that to rmah $$'s?

The guy who bought it is a Swiss, they are probably are largely unaffected by all that.
I'm not surprised if he is a banker too, and just showing us all an example of "trickle down" economy. :)

this item worth anything without the 100% crit damage? I got a 1200 DPS one with socket and all other stats are about the same
