It would be really awesome if the developers could reply to bug reports...

For example:
I have seen the same bug report about 5 times now regarding the freezing when the bot is about to pick up gold. Yet, I still have no idea if the developers achknowledge this bug, are working on it, or even knows it exist. It would be really awesome if someone could just reply to the bug reports saying "We are working on this" or "We'll look into it" or something in those lines.

I realize things must be busy with the trial and everything but afterwards I would love to see these bug reports being acknowledged.

ya i agree tony sorry but i had a report with full log and you said...."Try this" which was a link to the profile i was running. So i said i was running that profile still having the problem. and then you said full log plz. Which was already attached.

Tony has to be the worst mod in the DB forums. Harasses and blames people for the errors they get when it is clearly bot related (hundreds of posts/threads of the same issue). Can we get a staff member who has a clue to reply to some of the issues.

I'm done waiting for DB to fucking fix the issue its been nearly a month and they have done nothing to even fix the issue I and hundreds maybe thousands have been having since day one!

I don't agree with Tony sometimes, but bashing him won't get you anywhere.

Do you think they don't run their own bot? They are clearly aware of the majority of the issues it has.

Try reading around, the bot hasn't even been out a full month yet, not even taking into consideration the downtime, and they are having to go to court against Blizzard. I don't see what you're going to accomplish with that mentality.

Nearly a month, or .. 13 days? Less than 2 weeks?
 
I agree with op, there is plenty logs and reports
Bot is NOT afkable and a bot that cannot be left alone just sucks, sad but true.

But i do understand that the devs did not (dont?) work in the weekend

Well, that AGB thing has been running for a day and a half now on my DH, and Arelog works with DB now. So essentially it will at least run, it just needs to stop exploding in towns and such.
 
Weird, I've been running my bot on Sarkoth for 3 days straight now without problems. Using Icools sarkoth plugin and the notification clicker.
 
aye i can run sarkoths to as well but if you watchign it there are times he TPs out before finishing to kill Sarkoth or with out looting. Happpens in alot of profiles ive tried so its not the profiles its the bot. Also getting weird stuck issues at different waypoints. Getting stuck in town eventually it gets past the stuck in town part but takes very very long time tod salvage and do things in town. I'm not complaining or bitching or expecting things fixed now. I just would like someone to say ok ill look over your log see what i can come up with, then tell me what they came up with. acknowledge that its a bug in the bot human error or a bug in the profile something.

I admit, I have seen that happen, where the bot will try to TP with Sarkoth at like 10% hp for some reason, and it's not profile related.

Don't work over the wk-end? I admire that, but when you are running a business and your product is broken you may want to re-evaluate the no wk-ends scenario. Atleast until the product works as intended. Not to mention that server side navigation pretty much dictates that 24 hour support would ne to be available. Beginning to lose confidence in this bot as it has failed to meet expectations on every level. Now I am not going to scream at the top of my lungs or anything like that. But I am offended that I would be put on hold for the wk-end for a product that is already paid for and still fails to work as advertised. Is this a business or a hobby?

So for your $20 purchase you expect the entire staff to remain at your beck and call 24 hours a day? People need time off. Even in a corporate business scenarios, people get time off. When a project manager has a project that is incomplete, he is still able to have down time. The fact that the team is facing legal problems and are even considering letting you use the bot still should be enough for you. They are not required to do anything. Grow up.

i get what both sides are saying, but i would suggest the bot was rushed out the doors in a very incomplete state, to nab people before they went to something else.

You would suggest wrong. The devs pushed back the release of the bot for weeks, despite the ravaging customers demanding an "early" release, damn the bugs.

lots of people do not work on the weekend....it's their only two days off for the entire week, and you expect them to work through it? lol....
 
i basically am on call ALL the time, who do you think responds to all the posts you guys report. my phone goes off to wake my ass up to deal with it. so yea.

as far as the issue at hand. if you want us to look at a bug, we need to see what the bot was doing, while instructions are nice, the log tells us a lot more in a few lines about whats its trying to do then you using your language skills, even something simple like "its not clicking on the *insert object here*" could be 5 different sections of code that could be failing. we need the log figure out what you cant tell us, so as a user you have two options, you can ether post the log as requested, or the issue can be ignored and no support will be given. that's all we ask for when we give you guys support, is to attach the log as a file. and for whatever reason it seems too hard for people to do that.

just because they pushed it back doesn't mean it was ready for release when they released it.
