im locking the thread, the OP didnt post the log as requested before, i doubt hes going to do it now, and because of him, this thread has just turned into a flame war over tony, and thats not right.

the bottom line is, we notice when you don't put any kind of effort into the stuff questions you ask, so yea, while we try and be nice, we cant spend hours writing an essay on how do small things like post a log as an attachment and why its important, when all we would get back is 1 sentence. the give and take just isnt there. if you have a problem and want support, we need a log as an attachment, thats pretty much all there is too it.

First of all... Because of me people started bashing tony ? ... How on earth could that be my fault... I never said anything about him and didnt encourage other to do it either..

Second of all.. I only reported one error ever on this forum and that was with a log.. You dont know what ur talking about

Third.. The thread had nothing to do with my report or people not posting logs... My original thread was based on other threads like this one: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...482-stuck-trying-pick-up-gold.html#post587907

Tony is a nice guy and he tries to help out (and I still dont understand how you can claim that I am to blame for the bashing) but if Tony cant help the guy it would be nice if a mod or a developer could end the thread saying something like... It seems your the only one experiencing this problem try reinstall or, We will look further into this or, We are allrdy aware of this bug please wait for DB update. This was all i was SUGGESTING...

And here is a link to you mr CodenameG: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...when-trying-pick-up-gold-running-sarkoth.html
As you can see i attached a log including everything. Not that these two threads has anyhing to do with eachother.

So before you go locking this thread aswell.. You might wanna answer the original post and tell me if this is a posibility... It would be nice with some Closure to the bug reports but I dunno if its too much work since there are so many... It was just a suggestion...

Your thread was locked for a reason, you don't post logs and they can't help you, end of story

MY THREAD HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LOGS OMG
and if you would check the link to the only error i ever reported you would learn that i do post logs..
This is unbelievable...

The thread you linked to shows that the user didn't follow Tonys' instructions.

Tony is the dedicated support guy, all he wants is people to follow his instructions to help them further. He's the guy who tells the developer first hand if there's something wrong. "Use default rules and post logs" ...no further posts.

raging isnt going to do anything, the people that flame you wramberg are most likely long-time customers, long-time customers know that the buddy team is very reliable about fixing things, they help out as much as they can, and if a bug is ever reported with a log file attached, they attack it like nobodys business, The thing is creating threads like The one above and this one take time away from the devs and support staff when they could be answering real questions "not to say yours isnt real but they cant update the forums every 15 seconds" So take a chill pill, if theres multiple threads about freezing before picking up gold, bet your money they are on it already. Patience is a virtue, a Safe bot is actually pretty hard to come by these days

Why can't you resolved this with PMs? No need to get everyone involved lol.

why would you reopen this? i hope a mod slaps you via the internet

The original thread was not a bug report... It was question if perhaps other bug reports could be closed with a conclusion... I wasnt reporting any bug....
In the second link.. I was reporting the bug.. In the proper forum...

I guess i am raging.. sorry for that... but im not expecting forum to be updated all the time.. i was merely making a suggestion that maybe users could be informed what the conclusion was..

When someone blames me for not posting logs (even tho i do) and blames me for flaming others (even tho I dont) in public... I reply in public...

You'll see a conclusion to bug reports when they show up in the bot's patch notes with new releases. To expect more than that is pretty pointless. I'd much rather have the staff working on the bot itself rather than waste time responding to and closing bug threads. They see threads as they are posted and, assuming logs are provided, will fix the issue when they can.

I guess thats reasonable... I wasnt expecting anything tho.. I was just saying it would be awesome if they had the time....
