I just wanted to say I haven't seen a lot but there are just some people that don't want to wait for the bot to get worked out. That are just pushing. I had been using honorbuddy for some years now. I have dealt with 2 expans. Ya know what they didn't have it all ready on the day it was released. Most cases it was about 4 days to a week. They have more dev to work on it. But RB was up first day even if it was only to use a CR, no movement. If it was honorbuddy you wouldn't have gotten anything, until it was done.
Thanks to the dev or devs that are working on this project.
The people that are really whining are the ones that came over from honorbuddy, I am sure from the banwave.
To everyone that isn't wanting to wait.... Ya know were the door is.

yet people have paid for this bot and it does not work? not very good. HB is way way way wayway way better and cleaner then RB ever was. minon has their bot up already up and running for awhile now., I think the problem is its just we paid and we have to wait? couple people just bought the bot and cant use it, sucks a lot to be them
 
HB is also years older and has the advantage of playing the beta for half a year before the game is released to be able to work out and test all of the new code. Nothing of that sort happened this time. You are using a very bad comparison. minion is a whole different story. they are willing to do things that this bot wont, which im glad it doesnt.
 
RB has been out couple years too. im not just talking about dlcs RB is more limited and less profiles and less support then HB and they both cost the same, you just get a lot less with RB is what im talking about. minion like hacks into game or something right? I dont know lol

People need to read the forum and get the BETA. Works perfectly well.

One developer vs. multiple developers.

1 month subscription or one time fee vs. required subscription (minion).

Use common sense before posting again.

It does work, just not all of the features have been added back due the changes.

They have multiple developers. All of their members pay subscription fees too.

Wait for what? Combat works. It's not realistic to expect a single dev to level up all the classes, redo the entire navigation system, and reprogram aspects of the bot on his own.
Combat routines are available when people make them and share them, for free. They aren't part of the dev team. If you want things quicker, it will cost more money, either to pay the community to work and create new addons, combat routines, and profiles, or to hire additional devs to help the bot.

It's not rude to call you out on your ignorance.
 
Shadow I have read your posts and all I see is whining. Hell I started this post cause of you. I don't know why you can't wait. I would rather have the bot work and work right. If minion is that great why pay for something that isn't as good just cause it is cheaper?
With my account I want a good bot so I don't have to pay 40 to 50 bucks from a new account. Why use the one that isn't as good?
 
Thing is minion bot has recurring monthly subscription which is fucking retarded. I think buddy bots are the best way to go and price wise extremely good.
 
As for all the people that have paid. Trials can be refunded or held till the bot is fixed. They need to contact the refunds email. If you bought a life time account tell me how your losing money? I have a 30 day I got to try it out. I am sure I can get a exten for the days I am "missing", but why I liked it so I bought a lifetime.
 
i dont know what your talking about? I am waiting i seen couple posts people just bought the bot while RB was down and no beta at all was up or info about anything so they were asking around. and I didnt know RB just has one dev while HB has mult, im not a staff member so I dont know who works at buddy and who donst.

1. Bots are third party tools and are released by third party devs, if mastahg wanted, he could halt production of the bot and there's NOTHING anyone could do about it, including livetime license purchasers. Deal with it.

2. The fee for this bot has been repaid a thousandfold compared to what I would have to pay in RMT purchased gil.

3. If you actually thought that the bot would be up and running immediately after an expansion posted, you're mental.

4. The beta is already up and running, huge progress has been made in a very short time.

You're not special because you've just purchased the bot, at least not in underground environments. I'm just another user myself, so lay off the dev. Hell, I've gotten screwed on purchases from Square Enix.. big surprise. In fact, back in FFXI I paid for my monthly sub an hour before the monthly reset, they billed me $13 (or whatever the cost was) for an hour of access time, and said if I wanted my money back I'd have to claim fraud and they would permaban my account (until the money reversal was paid off.)

3.I never said anything about that, said people NEW who bought the bot who has no idea what to do is asking questions .
4. yes it has...wait I dont know cause im not the dev or a staff member nor have i been using it, i have just been waiting for the new none beta.
5. I didnt just purchase it again i had it for couple weeks now. and square enix does have bad game support , they have ignored my ticket and canceled it without no replay , it was about Au getting lag in EU and asking if I could move to a jp server to fix the problem lol. also FF is down right now in middle of the day which is kinda bad as well

If you're not the one who's complaining then I don't know who is. Either way, people really shouldn't complain if they purchased RB immediately prior to an expansion posting.

I'm not a developer, but if I was, this community would make me want to stop seeing as they do this for free on their free time. Since the WoW ban wave it seems like this community is getting more traffic from that community and is pushing things in the wrong direction.

This would be a good time for people to actually learn their classes/jobs and then once they have a solid grasp on it, provide positive feed back on routines and ways to better improve the bot instead of bashing the small amount of developers RB has or had compared to HB.

There are tons of other games to go play. Either wait or play by hand, it's pretty simple.
