Issues with Demonbuddy (flashing window Crashing/non authenticating)

Hello, I am having some issues ever since the last patch (US)

before patch everything worked fine, once .215 and .217 came out everything stopped...

For some reason I will get the flashing window crash. I have done everything from uninstall .NET and C++ and re-installed both programs about 7 times (I have used Demonbuddywizard, Google to search for the newest updated versions, websites Tony has provided, I even downloaded visual studio) Every time I use Demonbuddywizard it ALWAYS tries to redownload C++, when it goes through the install it asks if I would like to repair or remove the program. I have even downloaded the x64 version as well as the 2008 versions.

another problem arose lastnight where the bot wouldn't even get to the flashing window but would stall on the authentication of my key. after about 10 seconds it would tell me It couldn't authenticate.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.


What I have installed -

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Distributable - x86 9.0.21022
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Distributable - x64 10.0.40219
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Distributable - x86 10.0.40219

.NET Framework 4.5

Can you try installing vmware? use that to test out a "New computer" and see if that's the culprit.
 
what's vmware?

and what vmware should I download? there seems to be many lol

I use VMFusion. because i'm on a mac.

However, you can use vmware player to install a windows system on your machine and test a new one. :) I would actually suggest you do this if you're planning to bot.

So you'll need to download the vmware player, you'll need your windows install disk (or a downloaded one) and use that to install windows in VMWare. After you install windows, you'll need to go to blizzard and download diablo 3 again (in the virtual machine (VM)) and redownload demonbuddy.

I have multiple times, it just re-downloads C++ and when I go to install it, it askes me to remove the program OR repair it. I have done both countless times and it does not fix it.
 
I am on Windows 7 Home premium. on both PC and VMWare... same thing on both platforms

Either have the Flashing window crash OR the no-authentication with the key i purchased.

why to use VMware on Win7? O.o



Uninstall net framework 4 and Visual 2010x86

restart your PC

run the wizard and install .net and Visual

check for Windows updates and install all important and non-important updates that have to do with those 2 tools above

restart your machine

try DB again and let me know
 
because it was the only OS i had a cd key for. and let me try this.

I was advised to try to use a vitual desktop to see what my issue was.
 
Re-installed everything you told me to.

Uninstalled .NET 4 and C++ 2010 and still Crashing on flash window.
 
Can someone give me an answer or help other than "Re-install the things you have re-installed 9 times now"?
 
finally got it working after playing with a few things this was a PAIN in the ass.
 
you can pm the author of the guide for more info,sorry but we are not experienced on VM enviroments
