Just got a Stillen Gen 3 CAI for my 350z with the money made from botting. It's the only upside I can see from this game.

It's actually the "most bang for your buck" CAI that's currently out. It can go on a G35/37 and 370z as well.

Adds 15-20HP, anything else on the market is 8.5-10.5HP.

It comes in 5 days, can't wait to start wrenching!!!

Next is gonna be rims, then a tuner, then whatever else I can get my hands on :cool:

Nissans Pride and Glory v6! Still upset that they just had to ruin the straight6 that should of been in the g35 skyline. Times were tough and people started to care about pollution I guess.

Anyways, I'm glad you've done your research, and you're not a typical nerd who doesn't like to get his hands dirty! Have you put any times down at the track? This could shave a couple points off. Especially if you wrap your new rims in nice rubbers :cool: What size were you thinking?

Oh, I'd suggest sound checking your car now and after. Like make a recording of what your exhaust sounds like now. CAI should give it a more ballsy sound.

Haha you read my mind! I had my gf sit there with her iphone today recording me revvin' it after I changed the oil!

No tracks around where I live :( but there are plenty of roads out here with curves like you've never seen. I'm goin' with 18's; 225's up front and 245's in the back. I was thinkin' Potenzas or Zeons for rubbers, what do ya think?

Great minds think a like, what can I say? :P

Out of the two I would suggest potenzas hands down. 225/245 sounds like the standard OEM specs which is good, but with the 18's you might notice you don't accelerate as fast, but it sounds like you're a cruising guy anyways. It also depends how much money DB has made you and how much you're willing to burn. If I want a performance tyre I usually get Kumho Excstas. These are Korean brand not many people know about though. Kumhos never did not disappoint me until I noticed the tread ware then I was rather pissed. Would not recommend unless you are expecting to replace within 12-20k km. Worth it for the times on a street legal though.
Maxxis is just usually outright expensive and I haven't rolled a set myself but I hear great things.
If you want to stay in a more mainstream company potenzas are good. Almost pulled the trigger on a set until I got a great deal on the kumhos. You can't go wrong with this choice.
Or even Yokohama ADVANs. Once again it depends on how much money you're willing to burn.

Is this just a summer set or are you the lucky type that doesn't get snow in the winter?

There used to be a lot of great roads just a 15-20 min drive from me a few years back. Now there's stop signs and traffic lights for no reason =/.
