I want to buy a whole new account on a completely different battle.net account to bot on.

I'll invite the bot to my main's guild and then I won't log into my main until the bot account gets banned. All the gold the bot makes will go into the guild bank, then when it gets banned I'll take it out on my main account.

Is this smart or no?

Aslong you don't touch your main with the bot you should be fine.

It might work, but bare in mind Blizz may also disban the guild and kick you main out of it. This seems to be happening more and more lately.

I should have mentioned that my main is not the GM of the guild, but only co-gm. I spoke with the GM about it (outside of wow) and he is okay with it.

I have been doing this for many years but I stopped playing for some time and just rejoined recently.
But as long as you don't touch your main account with hb you should be fine.
