I've never botted before, but I've thought about it since my life is getting busier and I want to keep up with my friends. Is this program safe? How often are people caught and banned, cause I have put a lot of work into my account.

What exactly do you mean by "want to keep up with my friends" if you have already "put a lot of work into my account"?

I have put a lot of work into the past on this account, but life is starting to get busy and I'm not keeping up with them. That's all I meant.

So basically, your work worth nothing at the moment, just good memories? If new cdkeys cost less then memories, then buy new account and bot there :)

Alarms are going off with this statement. You should never bot an account you do not want banned. As stated above you should buy a new d3/ros key and bot a fresh account and leave your cherished account untarnished. I would go as far as using a vpn or proxy on the botted account so that there is no link between the two via ip.

I've never been caught botting on Diablo 3 and I've been doing it since vanilla. Just make sure your friendlist consists out of people that don't mind you botting. Further I recommend renaming the folder of your demonbuddy to a default windows process (for example: svchost). Why? Well, i'm superstitious in such a way that I believe when warden scans your computer it sees the folder as a windows process and skips it.

there was a big wave after s1 as you can see in the ban reports section, which caught me aswell.
im wearing also a tinfoil hat all day since then.

why the ban only happened to some ppl is unknown; so id say the program is safe, running the same public profile over and over is atleast not intelligent.

Do not be fooled by the " I bot since beta" answers. They are very hard to take seriously, or uncredibly lucky.

There have been two big banwaves in the past. First in feb. 2012, this killed 100% of all the accounts owned by the people I personally know.

Some people claimed to have survived; they could have been botting 1 hour every two weeks and still consider it botting, though. The relation of banned-not banned accounts here was 9-1 at least. Just go to the ban Section and it anywhere from page 30 to 60, you'll see the same date,

Second was after S1. It took most people that botted in seasons, but did only affect a reduced amount of people that did not season-bot.

Point being, the frequency of the bans may seem rare enough to give it a try, but noticing how you really care about your account, it is a clear NO.

Like everyone said, I consider it pretty safe, I also have an account that didnt get hit in the big banwaves.
Also the first time you get banned you get away with an excuse to get unbanned. (I got hacked, got a virus, my cat downloaded the bot etc.)
BUT anyways, never bot an account you care about.

I see alot of statements here I would take with a grain of salt. Look I've botted d3 for a long time. I've sold thousands of $ in gold and items on the RMA and a few accounts in RoS. I've had about 20 accounts banned and zero unbanned w/ appeal. If you bot an account you should consider it marked for death and develop no attachment to it. I think in your case you should buy new keys and bot that account with the mindset that it could be taken away from you any day. Anything else is just well wishing and rainbows.

I've been botting pretty much every day since RoS came out, on the only account I have since d3 came out (vanilla time, before RoS). And still not banned *bigsmile*

Ive lost 1 account of 15, and that was the first one wich i only botted for 1 week and then the massive 2012 banwave came, after that i have survived. I botted 12 accounts for 6 months including real money AH, as today there is no reason for me to bot more then 1 account, there are ways to stay off the radar but sadly that is something everyone need to figure out them selves :D (cause of obvious reasons)
