I've been using demon buddy almost since release now and have never managed run the bot for more than 3 hrs without any problems

i have been leveling my alt and tried all versions of queen rinse and repeat and arreat farming with all plugins enabled, disabled, tried everything i could think of!

i know db has some problems , but is there any profile at all which can run 100% afk atatll?

i put my alt on leveling overnight every single night, and it gets stuck/crashed every single night..am already 60+ hours on the alt and still haven't managed to hit level 60!

i would really like to know if there is any profile or bot version atall which can run at least for 10 hrs without any problems whatsoever??

i have 50 logs which i can share if u need to look deeper..
 
Lots of people run the bot fully afk. It depends on what stage you are on. If you are farming sarkorth then carguys sarkorth profile can do full afk. There is a bunch for Act3 etc..

If you see the bot stuck, then get the plugin for db that resets your character.
 
You best bet is to look and find where its going wrong, if it gets stuck get an unstucker. There is lots of plugins for all the errors of db. Also carguy's script is very good or abg is also good

and any sort of Sarkoth profile if you get the sarkoth plugin for turning off combat outside of the cellar

ROFL, logs. I run 6 bots non stop all day everyday, fully afk.
 
The question is pertinent. I only have problem when disconnected from servers. Happens every 2-3 hours....So far nothing works that can re-log me, and restart the profile and bot. NOTHING!!
 
I would highly suggest using plugins that may help with your situation. While they may not help with all situations, the can assist. Also, a lot of the public profiles are not perfect and could use tweaking. I don't recall getting one profile that I didn't have to tweak. Open your favorite up, watch it in game, see where it's getting stuck, and modify the profile to see if you can fix it.
 
I honestly ran Integro's monk sarkoth profile for eight hours yesterday without any problems. I was getting about 400k an hour with only 260% GF and 12k dps! If you follow his instructions through right down to what skills to use then it will run flawlessly.

As i said, i tried all the plugins, unstucker, fixidle,notificationok etc,etc

Thats right, Carguys Profile is fully AFK i tested this on multi bots running. Only plugins i use are the following: EMC's, BreakTaker, Icools, SavePlugin, TestInv, Unstucker - All latest versions.

queen running, other sarkoth requires plugins which are too buggy for the new version

A lot of people, including me have the character keeps going to Adrias hut. So no, its not a fullyafk profile yet.
 
I'm running ABG profile, AFK for last 18-20 hours or so now. No indication of this changing anytime soon (except ofc there's a patch so it's bound to change). Before this I ran core of arreat profile, as long as you set attack range correctly (27! Not 30, not 40!) I ran this for periods of 24-36 hours without a hitch. Either using unstucker 1.8 pre 1.0.3 or without post 1.0.3 but turning off all looting.

So in simple terms, you just have to find the one that works for you. It's not as guaranteed to be fully AFK as you might have wished but with the right loot rules / attack range and profile at the right time. There is without a doubt profiles you can leave alone until the next patch date.

For instance I never change script before I go to bed, I only swap to new scripts around 1400-1800 my time. That way I got 5 hours to check if anything goes wrong, and if it does test different settings / scripts / lootrules. And when I find something that works, I stick to that unless there are significant GPH improvements to be had by figuring out a different script.

The only night that I have had any problems w/ Demonbuddy, was the first night I went to bed with the bot on. Because I was still not used to the software at all and it was like 1 day after DB release date.

IMO, Demonbuddy is not fully finished and so it recuires a bit of work in advance in order to get it fully AFKable. But getting it fully AFKable is perfectly possible. You need to test different versions, different scripts, different loot rules nad stuff for different patches. But you only gotta do it like maybe once a week at a max, that's really not so bad! Give it 3-4 weeks and you won't even have to do that..

^This. Kudos to Integro. That profile kicked ass for me yesterday. Hopefully it will work with .146 when I get home from work.

For those that reverted back to .146, is that working after the minipatch or are we all going to have to wait for the latest version in another 9 or 10 hours (per Hawkers post).
