Over the past 3-4 days I have been having issues with the forum search. I would say about 95% if the time I get a Database error.

This is driving me nuts. I keep trying to spoon feed newbs but with broken search they are forced to do things on their own.

Kidding. It really is broken tho and driving me nuts. Is this something that is being looked into or is no one else having this issue?
 
It's something that we told them about days ago, and they said it's working as intended ...
 
Yeah i haven't had any problems with the search function = P

I reported this the other day, some searches work ok but others fail. Tony said all is well ...
 
same here, been getting same problem. I just assumed that most of the database was removed to some type of archive cause I honestly cant seem to find anything even when I manually go through the forum trees.
 
Yea, search still not working right now me. Really is driving me crazy. Hope they realize whats wrong and get it fixed.
 
yes,it isnt down in general but it gives errors on specific searches

lol.. how is it not down in general when you can't search for anything specific? and when a search does go through, it never returns any results. there's clearly a problem.

It clearly works.

But hey, if it works for you.. then that's all that matters. Just lock the thread and sweep it under the rug. No biggie.
 
it works for me when i try to search it works i had the same issue befor but it got solved for me

Ok I tried a few things, It seem's it's related to What "Style" as in looks of the forum you've chosen, that would somehow break the search, and the search doesn't like spaces.
Temp Fix:
Step 1). click here
Step 2). Try searching (for now don't use spaces, it keep's breaking with a db error)

If it work's we know what the cause is, if not, we shall prevail.
