Is Kick's leveling safe right now?

I haven't botted in a few months, never got caught, nor got a warning and i've never done it for gold. Although, it seems Blizzard has been catching a lot of people from what i'm reading. I was hoping to level overnight and get from 87-90 asap.
 
everything is as safe as botting always is.

threads asking for "is xx safe now or what" are just pointless and start to annoy a whole lot of peolpe.
 
Well, i'm not trying to annoy anyone. I see a lot of talk about gathering profiles, gold making, etc but nothing about questing.
 
It's a loaded question.

And to be honest, we don't really know the answer. Anyone that claims to either has more information than anyone else, or is full of shit.

LCP detection being true would mean that all questing patterns are trackable and would suggest that 1 million concurrent people using the SAME EXACT questing path is traceable. This, to me, seems like a very easy thing for blizzard to implement.

However, CTM (click to move) tracking also seems very easy to keep record of. Especially when you consider that Honorbuddy clicks 'unclickable' terrain when flying. Makes me really wonder how long it will be until a WoW Glider esque banwave.

If Blizzard could track CTM then Pirox and Honorbuddy never would have existed because people would have been insta banned.

What if they have us all on a ban list and are just waiting for a good time to hit enter?

I've tried kicks on a couple of fresh accounts and both were banned within a few days.

About 10 hours a day, i didn't do it every day and i did it during the day when i was able to check up on it.

But then you'll have people going "I BOT 24/7 KICKS 100 CHARACTERS TO 90 NP YOURE ALL JUST BAD NOOBS LOL L2BOT"

Your choice, though.

Yeah no, as unlikely as it may seem blizz people it in the game for legitimate uses and some people probably use it, they couldn't ban because they'd be banning innocent people too. And instead of banning people using it, why wouldn't they just remove it, if they could.

Blizzard didn't put click to move in the game for botters. (Or did they?)

There is literally no way to land a CTM in mid-air without botting.


On the topic of Kick's Leveling been safe or not. I think the point of this question isn't "is botting safe?" more so "will I get banned in 2 hours for questing like I would with gathering?" I'd like to know an answer to this. I'm currently leveling myself but occasionally I'd like to throw on a movie and use Kick's for a specific zone or 2 while doing that. There seems to be a few bans from Kick's going around but for all we know they could have been stuck on a fence in a quest hub for 5 hours.

If you're going to use questing bot and want to AFK, be prepared to lose your account. Not saying you're going to lose it, but every player has a report button.. and now every zone is occupied with players thanks to CRZ.

I do not think so no.
Click to move is rather nice imo. every now and then, when I feel too lazy to walk a distance my self. but I don't want to click auto-walk and run into a pack of mobs etc.
 
I've been using kicks to level to 90.
No problems so far, I only have 1 90 atm.
right now I am running HB beta. Currently questing only. Running really smooth :D
The only way to get whacked by questing is if a player reports you. (when the bot is stuck) from what I can tell.
Botting is a gamble...You win some, you lose some. If your not ready to lose your main account. get an alt account. O_o
 
recently got banned on my main account.. made a new account.. been botting for about 3 days so far.. lvl 71.. i THINK it's safe... but who knows.. fuck it just do it

If they did this, then they would be sued by a lot of people as blizz allowed them to pay for another 4-5 months subs when they should have insta banned them.
 
kicks has been safe for me been using every day for the last 5 months. I've never (ever) used gatherbuddy or bgbuddy, only used kicks and never been banned.
 
I have been using Kick's profile on two accounts for about 15 hours a day since the new Beta and I haven't had any issues. Make sure you watch it though because it can be a little buggy here and there.
 
leveled 3 chars to 90 sinde 5.3 hit the servers (everyone about 80-90) - no bans
 
i do however know a few people reported Dragonblight a dangerous place to bot for some reason, notice a few people have been banned while botting this area! :)
