Is it wrong to report stupid botters?

Don't interact with other bots in any way that shows that you are a bot or know that they are a bot. Keep a low profile, and remember.. snitches get stitches. Or in the world of botting, you report people and who knows, maybe the gm casts an eye on your acc as well...

I understand what the OP means.
No , Don't report them for being stupid, they can't help it.

They don't understand that selling 2x of x for 300g each instead of selling 4x for 150g each generates the same sum but makes them save gems , ore or what ever it might be.
Might take a little while longer to get it sold but it seems greed kills every braincell in the head of some botters.

However I've seen too many times: starting price 300gold and 1 hour later it's down to 140-145g by ppl running badly configured AH-Bots or being too stupid to think.
This really pissed the shit out of me but i'm never reporting them. i HAVE been tempted to hit the ? a couple of times but their absence of IQ makes me lol instead.

if a botter is destroying the whole ecomomy of a server with "burst botting" or wtf you want to call this, it is not wrong to report them, thats my opinion. you should report them! these people spit on everyone and no there is no honor among thieves. for me botting is only ok if you make your money but dont completly destroy the experience for others, botters and non botters. and these people dont give a fuck about anybody else.

I am against reporting other botters despite what they do and how they do it. Even after getting in arguments with other botters and after they say that they will report me, I never reported back, not once, nor will I. If he is determined to report me, he will do so anyway but what would I achieve by reporting him as well? We all bot, our accounts get banned from time to time. Earlier today I lost 3 accounts, I will appeal them and hopefully get them back, if not I'll just get new ones. You don't really help yourself by reporting other botters, all you do is destroy the community from the inside. Not to mention that you can draw a Game Master's attention to yourself as well thus allowing him to see all your accounts' activity and deal with you the same way he dealt with the guy you reported. Is that an acceptable colleteral damage for you?
