Since I have been back botting for the past 3 months, I have used BG botting without any bans or suspensions. Having said that, I usually only AFK at night. A couple times when I got up in the middle of the night to check it, I saw that the majority of the BG was bots! Haha! I could tell because as soon as I got out of the starting gates, we all took the exact same pathing and turned at the same time, etc. I guess it's hard for people to report you if they are botting as well.
If you use the BG bot, make sure you watch it as much as you can. It can do some dumb stuff sometimes. When I do play, I usually pause it out of the gates, go somewhere and then resume it for the rest of the match. That starting area is just too noticeable.
