Do you think it is ok to bot on the same battlenet account?

Lets say You have a WoW 1 and a WoW 2,

Your WoW 1: is your main account and you do not want this account to be banned (you do not bot on this account)

Your WoW 2: Is your second account which do you infact bot on, but what you would call 'reasonable botting' you supervise it, you don't bot for extensive periods.

Reason I ask, if I want achievements/mounts/titles/pets (which are all account bound) I can bot them on a WoW2 account and they will then transfer to my main (WoW 1) account.

May I go further and ask, if my WoW 2 recieves a permanent ban, and I make a a WoW 3 (on the same battlenet) do you think it is a good idea?

I am taking the idea of not botting on your account you don't care about and instead just using your main battlenet account as an origin. has anyone recieved bans on accounts they didn't bot on but were connected to their main battle net account?

well if ya get a ban on WoW 2 why dont ya get on on WoW 1 aswell?

Speaking from my personal experience , they ban the account you bot on, and not ALL accounts you have on your battle.net
I was banned 4 times, my first ban was on my 8 year old original account, I almost had a heart attack :) but they did not ban another account I had on the same battle.net
I always have 2 accounts (on the same battle.net), one for botting and one clean, sometimes I would go bot with the clean account and then pay for it in a ban (and the ban can come even after months where you did NOT on the account)
so technically, yeah, you can bot on one and keep one "clean".

yes i do so on cheap one...with another bot while hb is back...
maybe later i'll transfert my new toons on my main account...
