Just wondering, if they monitor each character or each account.

I personally don't think blizzard will monitor u until you get flagged.
Thus let's say you cycle through chars every 5-7 hours and no-one reports u I think u'll be fine =]

PS:If i were you I'd wait for a response from one of the "Top"botters.

You can be on 24/7 except somebody reports you. The basic idea about 10-12 hour bot is to reduce chances by 50% to be reported / monitored.

So If im not for a long period of time I wont automatically be logged into some database as a possible bot?

Just to warn you, EVERYTHING people say here are personal experience and guesses.

Nobody can say 100% whats wrong or whats right.

What about playing on 2 different realms, same account, 12h for each realm, 24/7 ?

Lol I highly doubt they care whether you stay 2 hours or 25 hours a day. Top raiding guilds spend at least 15 hours everyday. So if you don't farm one area for 25 hours,I think you will be fine.
And tbh, Blizz's wish is that you play a lot everyday.

From my experience you cannot simply state it like that. There has been days where I have botted 48 - 72 hours straight farming mining/herbing/lvling on one character. If you farm relatively desolate places / your own unique profiles and happen to recieve no reports, I believe that no monitoring will be done. (Those 48 - 72 hours was during Glider though) I've reach +- 2 days on mining though, not something I do often, but I have done it before. So to your question: Not without any suspicions but I wouldn't personally bot the same thing for more than 24 hours without having a break after.
