Is it much slower playing the game through socks5 proxy?

I've never used a proxy to play a game before.

I have a 3 session paid account, and i'm just wondering how much slower (if any) using the proxy is.

If you get yourself a quality socks5 proxy server they run perfect without any lag (don't use free or shared proxies). The sad thing for me is that my proxied bots have less lag than my non proxied main client.

sock5 itself add very little to no overhead (nothing youd notice), but the connections does have to travel from you to the proxy and then from the proxy to the game server. So it all depend on the quality and position of your proxy.

I use 1 VPN for every 3 chars, more than that they get flagged, I looked around for "quality" paid SOCKS5, a ton were already flagged by trion, got a lot of bad lists, and they were overall unreliable connection wise, had to renew/change after a few hours.

I looked around quite a bit, didn't use the ones that only form of payment available was bitcoin, and was a bit frustrated with the quality of such service around, I also only used SOCKS5 from the US.
