Is it me or is champion farming gear sooo expensive now?

You can score incredibly good gear off the AH....not top gear but good gear, for pennies....

Yes, I know this. Ok then, how much do you need to spend to get barb stats of 30k dps(buffed), 1005allres (buffed), 1150 LOH, 35khp? Also how long would you need to spend in the AH? :rolleyes:

I agree its gone way up in the last week.
And I thought it was too high before 1.04 :)

you really don't even need the dps that high. this is how it went down for me: I got banned running sark, bought another d3, leveled barb to 60, and minutes later bought the exact gear I used to farm a1 for days until I got even better gear to make more fool proof runs. just make sure each armor piece has (50-70+) vit, str, all res, and try for sockets. buy a weapon that has 1.2k for a 2h or 800 for a 1h. set your buyout max for each slot to whatever you can afford to buy all pieces. i pretty much bought each piece for an average around 50k. the most expensive was the weapon.
 
Just throwed 50m on my monk , 900 all res 32k dps , destroys everything in 2 sec elites pack die like trash xD
 
im at 25k dps 800 all ressits on my monk and spent 5mil and destorys elite packs in 2 seconds.
 
im at 20k dps 900 res all ressits on my monk and only spent 1mill and he destroys elite packs in 1 millisecond.

Agreed, this is pretty much what I do. I give a bigger budget allowance for rings, amulet, and weapons because they are so much higher. The last barb I outfitted, I allowed a max of 500k for each weapon, each ring, and the amulet, and 100k for each other piece. I did buyout on everything, so no waiting. In the end, right around 3 mil for a full set of gear, and he farms act 1 with only 1 death per hour or so.
