Is it just me or is item sales down?

Pretty sure salez gonna up high after pvp patch. And if it will be ok and some esports styff like 3v3 on intel extreme masters etc then sponsors of esport team gonna buy items also . Lets keep faith;)

And yeah drop rate is too high imho and mp0 makes it easier to play on shitty items. Oh well its blizz they gonna figure it out coz thry need rmah sales also;)

Esport wont buy a thing because Esport exist mostly in Korea where RMAH is outlawed.

Legendaries are fucking useless. Stash getting overfilled again. I'm gonna up my starting price to 100,000 and if I don't see a bid within 3 hours, I'm cancelling and vendoring.

I start all my auctions at 99,999 in the morning when I get up. (Well the ones worth trying to sell.)

Just to add to CodenameG, price can also crash/hit rock bottom when someone or a group of people gains the ability to "print virtual items" at negligible cost to generate revenue, while creating sky high entry/barrier costs to other competitors, turning a "perfectly competitive market" into a "monopoly".

Ok, calm down here Michael Porter

You do not know shit about E-Sport.. E-Sport is just as big in Europe now as it is in Korea. We even have televised matches here in Sweden.. and there's tournaments all over the place, most with 200k euro prices.. You can read about interviews in newspapers even..

Well all these comes to an end some time or another. I remember when I use to play 9Dragons it went down the drain fast. I recommend things not worth selling turn it into materials then build something close to perfect from blacksmith than try selling that. But when things can be automated it really kills the game fast. I wonder how come WoW kept up this long?

This is Blizzard we're talking about. I'm banking on the fact that they can milk a game for all it's got. They will not let D3 just die out!

I can see that with WoW, they did pretty much just that. So we might new things in the D3 system soon.

Sales are down for me as well. I always undercut but now I have to undercut my own undercut, cutting profits in half nearly...

blizzard said, that they dont want d3 to become an esport game! It would help for sure, but its probably no gonna happen...

I still believe ladder introduction would help in the future!

But it it needs time after pvp is introduced, so maybe a year from pvp?:)

What could sell for 15 i drop it the next day to 12.. and ends up selling for 7 or 9

That mean's it couldn't have sold for 15. Made 5 sales netting around $200+ the very day RMAH became stable, which is today for me.

So today ive made about 500mil from just 3 bots. I put up a bunch of items up with 500k bids and ive had a few now go pretty high. I have 1 thats over 100mil already 1 handed legendary with socket sold an amulet for 30mil a surcoat for around 15mil sold a scorn for 75mil been a pretty good day!

jesus christ, sales is really deaded. i understand 1/4 of price and still doesnt sell?

i stopped doing buyouts ive been just doing bids and leaving it open. Its been working alot better. There is so much stuff out as well right now that the items need to be good and what people are looking for, for them to sell at all.

Im capping my sales at 1 mil +.everything under i vendor. I even reprice every 5 hours. But shit still aint selling until they are at rock bottom prices which is under 1 milly.

In my opinion Blizz should keep this % drop rate and make a ladder (like d2) that resets every 3-4 months or lower the % of drop rate and give set/leggendaries less probability of being crap.

I'm not putting any buyouts on any auctions i only put a min starting bid of like 50k or 100k and watch it fly from there. ive been selling so much more stuff since i started doing it this way. A lot less stuff is getting vendored and I'm still getting good money for good items.
